Do you mean an X-210 from Security or a Spirit 228 as a reserve? It's an old Parachutes Australia reserve.

I'm not sure why you would think I care who you root for. Being that you're from AU, I would expect you to root for France anyhow. You've got me there. I'm completely baffled as to how you came up with that. Australia has a huge Italian community and almost no connection with France. Wow.

A thread with info (and several smart-arse comments).

You should not drink too much either. You sweat salt and not water only. You should get salt too or you'll be fucked up too. Good point. I should've mentioned that I usually graze on a bag of salted pistachios through the day.

Because it's a trophy . The "World Cup" is the name of the tournament, not the bauble you get to mind for four years for winning it . Anyway, IIRC the original was a cup, was awarded to Brazil for winning the tournament three times, and was stolen.

Normally in FRA v ITA I'd be neutral and just hoping for a good game, but your attitude compels me to say "Allez les Bleus" .

What's your basis for making this claim?

Well do something about it then...

That's brilliant! -
He tried to get into the players bar at Wimbledon, shouted "Don't you know who I am?!", and got ejected. Definitely American.

...and you'll be stuck with terrible US coffee for the rest of eternity. Good luck with that .

I can't speak for Colombian coffee, but Italian and French coffee both beat the hell out of the burnt watery brown stuff called coffee in much of the USA.

Damn dude . Blue skies forever. -
The dehydration issue rings a bell with me. My performance levels are very sensitive to low fluid levels - I find that if I don't keep hydrated my focus goes down the toilet before I start feeling thirsty and/or headachy. On hot days I drink 6-9l of water a jumping day. I try to drink a litre of water between loads, and ensure I keep electrolytes up by consuming one or two sports drinks through the day. Handy hint: buy the powder and premix a 2l bottle on Friday night.

I've attended both the Scott Miller Essentials Skills course and the Brian Germain course. I'd highly recommend both, but they're aimed at slightly different audiences. Scott's is a very practical "how to land your canopy" course, while Brian's is a bit more cerebral and focuses more on the theory of canopy flight. Both Scott and Brian offer Advanced courses, though I've not taken either.

My favourite: "you muppet" == "you bloody idiot"

Nah, too many straight lines, and the large radial dominates its nose.

Wow, that's one anthropomorphic smile. A smile is human. How can it be anthropomorphic? you are assuming that other creatures dont smile, that's a very homo-centric opinion dave Are you inferring that ntrprnr isn't human?

Nope. The Cypres has been around longer. It also costs more than the Vigil. Up to you. A second-hand Cypres will work just as well as a new one; it just has less service-life left. There's a Used Cypres Value Calculator available on this page, so you know how much you should pay for one.

Bastard. Still the most beautiful aeroplane ever built, methinks.

I'm with you - I think premarital counselling is a really good idea. I know that if you want to get married in the Catholic Church in Ireland, you have to attend counselling beforehand. Friends of mine that aren't particularly religious have done it, and said it was great.
