    IT has one unique characteristic that really helps in skydiving: it gives you a high disposable income. Your poll is almost certainly going to show an over-representation of IT people, 'coz they're a hell of a lot more likely to feel comfortable on a computer .

    Pretty much. I don't know many jumpers without AADs here, though some of the older crowd jump without when the Cypres' hit EOL or need a service.

    You must have an AAD to D licence (200 jumps). Between D & E (500) you can have either an AAD or an RSL. Once you have your E you can do what you like. Ergo, you must have an AAD until you have at least 200 jumps.

    Audibles for 4-way: 4000 - 3200 - 1800. I've heard the flatline as the canopy finished deploying a couple of times, though not in a while.

    If the shrinking caused by stitching the risers noticably affects the trim, wouldn't it be easier to simply make & attach a pair of longer soft links to the rears to get the same effect?

    Bluetooth is designed with all those issues in mind. It really wouldn't be effective as a short-range data protocol for mobile devices if your wireless headset stopped working when you got close to anyone else...

    Yep. If you right-click on a Flash movie, then click on Settings, you get a dialog box. The second tab allows you to set Local Storage options for that particular site.
