I've certainly had some weird ones... just this morning I woke up with this recollection: I made a jump from Mari's gash and my canopy opened in a wrangled peice of mess of crap. So I cutaway and out comes my PD 106 light blue reserve. Only bad part now is, all the lines on the right rear riser had broken. So I'm watching myself in the 3rd person from the top of the cliff encouraging me to handle this. Well I end up doing a nice riser flare thing and touch down softly. I land back in the 1st person again, and flyangel2 anid casie were there. They said it looked scary and I was all shook up... but mostly pissed b/c I didn't have a reserve anymore. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com

Hehehe, this is true We actually ended up being blocked off from our original destination (Kirkwood) due to road closures everywhere! So we stayed in South Lake Tahoe and ended up doing Heavenly for 3 days... what a blast, and I couldn't have stayed warm without you Kelli! I believe this to be an absurd statement. Not absurd... sometimes true but not always. BASE has taught me a lot about parachutes and their functionality, more so than if I didn't have an enthusiasm for fixed object jumping.
