You are right, unfortunately I don't have the holiday entitlement or money to jump abroad again until April next year... I don't mind the winters, but the summers aren't exactly great either. Hey, maybe I should move to Canada, at least they get real summers!
-
Thats Scotsman you ignorant Frog.
-
I've only made 2 jumps in the last two months and couldn't really give a shit anymore either. I will stay in the sport because I'd like to try a wingsuit and I'd also like to stay current so I can try BASE. If you're not doing it as a sport or income the buzz can wear off. I've got 359 jumps now, which is a couple but not that many, still I could see myself trying a different (cheaper!) sport. Will

No, but you always smell like garlic....
-
Yikes man, I bet you sound like a retard with a lisp when you say that out loud!!!
-
No, no - not paying attention were you? Being fat, ugly and smelly is part of being French, so falls under the 'factual observation' category.
-
Exactly, allow me to demonstrate : Factual observation : Remi is fat, ugly and smells Personal attack : Remi is Canadian Any questions?

Update I think this is just ridiculous! Why exactly was he trying to smuggle the handgun onto the plane? Of course he was Islamic and had taken flying lessons in the states but thats purely circumstantial (before I get accused of being a gullible stereotyping racist....) Boy, if I ever decide to take up a life of crime I'm definitely moving to Sweden. Will

I got to see this one first hand. (I was supposed to follow him out and film him pull - couldn't get to him in time)

Wouldn't she burn her ass on the light-bulb???

You have 35 jumps now, what if you want a different rig in 200 jumps time? Vortexes do not have very good resale value (possibly because a lot of people do buy them cheaper in South Africa). If you put 50 jumps on that rig you would only be able to sell it for about £2100. I bought from Rigs n Things in Florida. Flew out to collect rig myself, it worked out cheaper than buying locally.

Yeah right, you just don't want Jen finding out about your boyfriend...
-
No, you IDIOT - he meant Field Marshal Montgomery. Sheesh, don't you know anything???
-
Nope, I was at Skydance last spring. Why is there somebody else out there that spots as bad as me??

I really really wish I could go to that, but unfortunately I used up most of my leave (and money!) on the freefly festival in Sweden. I will be going back to California next year though (but considering the number of americans [family included] I've managed to piss off, I'll be keeping a REALLY low profile... )

But they were doing that before 911 and there was no great rush to invade Iraq then. Did you know that BP has just posted a massive loss? In fact all the big oil companies' profits are down. I suspect the oil companies are putting pressure on the USA and its allies to invade Iraq. BP Ammoco is afterall the biggest company in Europe. The two biggest vultures (BP and Shell) are not even American. And if you want to look at human rights abuses, look at what Shell did in Africa - propping up corrupt evil dictatorships in order to keep pumping crude. Given some of the arguments posted here I will accept that oil is not the only reason that an invasion of Iraq is imminent, but I really do feel that it is a large reason. Will PS isn't it ironic that Shell is a Dutch company? (boy do they love their bicycles and energy efficient everything in the Netherlands)
-
What does invading Iraq to secure oil have to do with 911? (BTW I've been called a lot of things, but narrow-minded is a first - can I buy you a beer? )

My bad, should've checked - my knowledge of Von Braun and his rocket programme only stretches as far as a National Geographic documentary I once saw. Wasn't he involved in making the Messerschmit fighter jets that came out right at the end of the war? If Germany had had those jets four years earlier the Battle of Britain might've had a very different outcome....
