Ok, so I have told this before but thought I would share this again. [sappy thoughts] When Christmas rolls around, I still think of my first Christmas with my step daughter while I was married. She was 4 at the time, and I came up with a great way to make her think that Santa had come to our apartment. For a few days earlier I had convinced her that our entertainment center would turn into a fireplace for Santa since we didn't have one. Christmas morning, my wife and I got up, and I had the idea to use flour and make footprints all over the apartment starting at the entertainment center, around the tree, into the kitchen, bathroom, and one quick stop at her door. My wife and I went back to bed and later my step daughter came in and woke me up to tell me that the cats had made a mess. With my usual gift of bullshit, I told her that the cats didn't make a mess, but it was Santa's footprints. The snow (flour) didn't melt because it was from the north pole. When she saw the mess that "Santa" had made with the hot chocolate and cookies, and then saw the footprints all over the place, I think she really believed in the magic of Christmas. It was my only (so far) Christmas like that, and I will remember the look in her eyes every year. Thought I would share this story again, and maybe give a few of you some ideas to put that look of magic in a childs eyes. Ok, I screwed my knee up last summer, and due to no job/no insurance, I have yet to even see a DR about it. Yes, it is still screwed up, so I land carefully. Eventually I will see a DR about it, but I think I will say I fell off a friends roof or something. I know my injury was skydiving related, and from me being stupid, so I tell everyone else what happened, just not those that could affect insurance coverage, etc. Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

I got a job at the Fox TV station in Cape Coral. I've been a director at my past several TV stations, and that is what I will be doing there along with other technical positions in the production department. Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

Well, It's Official! I'm moving to FLORIDA!!! Now all I have to do is get rid of half of my stuff so I don't have to try to pull 2 u-hauls with my truck!!! It's a "Goggles n Teeth Liquidation Sale" but I'm keeping all my skydiving gear. Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

Well Jaye, it's not 100% yet, but looking like I'm headed southeast. I'll send you my address so you'll know where to send that case of beer I get for beating you to two hours of freefall time. We, as of today, I would call it an 90% chance that I'm moving to Florida to take a job at a TV station in the Cape Coral/Fort Myers area. Talk about a move from one end of the country (Seattle) to the other. Any tips about the Fort Myers area, where to live, what is "Skydive SW Florida" like, etc would be appreciated. (Not that I would use music I didn't have the rights too of course.) Do you use popular music to make your videos rock? Have you put them on the web? Been Busted? If so, what happened?
