    Yeah, when I saw that, I was thinking that someone resently watched "Good Stuff." The living room they tossed out of the airplane looked just like the one from "Good Stuff" Funny, that the rest of the whuffo's in the world don't think that's possible.     I want to see that movie. I'm afraid I read the book so many times that I wont enjoy the movie. I've read all 5 books at least 3 or 4 times, plus I have the TV series on DVD too. Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

    hmmmm........ depending on the wingloading and design, maybe you could build a small harness for a dog or cat with that rig. Could be fun combined with remote controls, think of the possibilities!!! Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

    As we all are, I'm sorry to hear of any loss in our sport. I never knew him, but it sounds like he was a really great guy. I work at a TV station in south florida, and we are doing the story on the news tonight. I am doing everything I can to insure that the :30 seconds of airtime it gets on the news is fair and accurate. I hate to see skydiving incidents misreported because they get the story off the news wires, and don't know what they are talking about. I already talked to the executive Producer about it once, and I'll make sure he gets it right! Blue Skies Gus!!!!! P.S. - If anyone had a picture of just Gus in the air, or in freefall, on the ground, attach it here, and I'll try to use it on the air for the over the shoulder graphic.     So I see people here all the time posting that they got their "A" license. Well, I got my "C" today. Not in the mail yet, still "C" pending.... I did the maneuvers jump today, as well as passed the test (on the first try.) So, yea for me, I have to go buy and drink beer at Hooters tonight!!!! Cheers!!!!     I might have an idea to help once you find out who people are on your buddy lists. I use a program for instant messaging called Trillian. it works for AOL, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, and ICR all at the same time. Once you have it downloaded and installed, you log into all your messaging names and it downloads your buddy lists. you can rename the contacts on the list! Instead of someone listed as "Skydiver 82987" or whatever, you can rename that contact "bob" or whoever..... http://www.trillian.cc/ there is a free version and a pay version. it's a nice toy!!!!     Cool video, but i gotta throw in a few comments. I'm a bit shocked at how low you went on those base jumps first off. Your body position after exiting the jet was really bad. You were spinning and unstable in freefall, and not in a fun sit-fly or stand kinda way......... and again, you pulled low. It looks like your body position on base jumps is much better, right on heading, etc. I did like the "magic" base rig. On the dirt bike, you are just wearing what looks like a jacket, and then once you go off the ramp and are basically falling to your death, a base rig magically appears on your back, but once again, low puller. Once you start jumping again, maybe you should remember to pull a bit higher. Cool video though! I wish they could mass market a skydiving computer game or something for those rainy days on the ground. Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

    My jump goal is pretty simple this year. Basically just jump when I can. No real number or license target to hit this year..... just jump occasionally due to money constraints. Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"

    That's right, he is an outright media magnet now! I just heard he will be on the "Today Show" tomorrow morning. Not sure what time, so set the VCR. (If you don't know, the TV show is on your local NBC channel from 7am - 9am.) His spot on the Tonight show last month with Queen Latifah was funny!!!     Yes, it is true, I have a few issues about being back in the news business. I still do my job to the best of my abilities on a daily basis till I manage to get out of this industry. (yes, I have several plans on how to do that, just no money right now to get started getting out.) Everyone at work also knows (and I'm not the only one) about how I feel about the show known as "American Idol." Several others here question if a reality tv show truely deserves the "news" coverage it gets. I'm not super worried about anyone I work with reading this. If they do, I will be more impressed that they took that much time to find this place to see what I was up to. Cheers!!!
