Some of my friends are pilots we were talking about whether pilots lose their license if they lose an eye, and one of 'em clarified things: This is the FAAs stance and regulation on it: A pilot is allowed to fly with one eye, only if, and get this: The other pilot has both eyes. I used to pay strictly by cash. Then I had a quarter-life crisis, took out a couple credit cards, quit working, and went on a three month bender maxing everything out and having the time of my life. Now I get to dodge a few phone calls a day from collectors. This ad space for sale.

someone once told me that mosquitos are unable to fly more than twelve feet off the ground, less if they've recently fed ... my question is ... is this true, and if so, why? he said it was due to the density and humidity of the air ... however, that really doesn't make since it's not altitude from sea level, but altitude off the ground, and i can't imagine the difference in humidity/density within a few feet would be that varied ... so then i wonder maybe its a psychological thing ... but i think they have strong enough brains to have psychological problems ... mice on the other hand, of course, but not mosquitos... and now i'm very curious ... anyone here study mosuitos for a living? The two B's. bitches and boats. but seriously ... no one else knows what's right for you. that you have to find out for yourself. while one person might be completely satisfied working 9-5 and raking in good cash, that might be absolute hell for somebody else and might prefer not making so much but doing something else ... that i speak from experience you just have to find out for yourself what it is you want ... and watch people you look up to and keep trying new things This ad space for sale.

I just came from there. I was told the same thing by English people. I saw the same thing from English people. Stereotype, yes. True, yes. Main reason is, because of the retarded laws about bars having to close at 11, they're used to drinking as fast as possible. This ad space for sale.

A couple years ago I had an interview with Microsoft. I didn't really want to work for them, being The Man and all, but I went anyways since they flew me out to Seattle, all expenses paid. My interview was about two days after I just came back from Spring Break, and I was completely in drinking mode. There were two things I wanted to do in Seattle: drink and go skiing, since I had never been skiing. Microsoft has about an eight hour interview process where you interview with a bunch of different people. My lunch interview was supposed to be an informal interview where I get to ask questions, yada yada. I asked the questions that were really bothering me: What are the good places to skiing around here, if I've never gone before? Where are the good places to go out at night? Is there anything else I should see while I'm here in Seattle? Needless to say, I didn't get the job. However, they did fly me out again the next year for another interview. However, I already had another job offer when I flew out the second time. Needless to say, I did not get that job either. edit: grammar and spelling This ad space for sale.

Anything that's going to be done needs to be done by oneself. Generally when people are failing in life it is their own problem, and usually involving laziness. Laziness due to depression is still laziness. Yeah, some people have harder lives. Yeah, some people have a lot of shit they have to deal with. That's life. The American Dream is still on. It can still be done. All it takes is dedication to improve oneself. As members of society we should focus on educating the youth, not helping the failed recover. A drug addict on the side of the road isn't going to become clean because someone intervened. He's going to sober up because he wants to. A kid on the other hand doesn't really know much. They need to be tought. The truth. Not this shit that marijuana supports terrorism, because once they get older and realize it was a lie they won't believe anything else either. People who have already failed aren't society's problems. Children and people who really want to succeed are. People who really want to succeed will succeed. They will find a way. And there is government aid for them. So that leaves kids. How can we help? Be a big brother, a mentor, a tutor, for children in ghettos, for children without mother and father figures, for children in areas prone to be miscreants, criminals, drug addicts. Education is the only way to help a society move up in the world. That's rally all we can do. After that it's their own problem. This ad space for sale.

stories? fuck, i've got a lot. go to sexanddanger.com i didn't go to amsterdam this time around, but i was there two years ago, and yeah, i ate the mushrooms ... but, i'm from florida, and we eat mushrooms all the time ... the craziest shit that happened was waking up in a paramedic tent after eating too much acid at an illegal rave in the middle of nowhere in czech. but you can go to that site and read to your heart's content ... most of it's true, some of its exaggerated, some of it is completely made up ... you can pm me if you want to know what's true and what's not ... three months and i've barely seen a third of europe ... man there's so much out there ... Indonesians terrorise Australia by setting up tourists.

a drug being legal doesn't mean an emplyer has to accept a person being on it while at work. would you allow your employee to be drunk while working? I highly doubt it. But that's a legal drug. This ad space for sale. -

Midnight Express wasn't about doing drugs on holiday. It was about smuggling them. Smuggling is one of the stupidest things you can do. Smuggling hash is even stupider. You can do drugs on holiday. You just can't be a dumbass about it. As I told someone else: If there is someone on the street selling you ten different kinds of drugs, he's selling you one thing: it's either salt, a mugging, or a jail sentence. Just don't even bother. There's legitimate drug dealers in every country. Hi Unformed thanks for the clarification. "Legit drug dealers in every country", Retailers selling to tourists don't have to worry about customer loyalty to stay in business. "Legit drug dealers in every country" Thats like looking for a virgin prostitute Everyone was a virgin at least once R.I.P. Haha.... yeah that sounds really stupid ... i guess I should reread before posting ... what i mean by legit is not shady. there are not as shady drug dealers, obviously not any legit drug dealers ... I've been to quite a few countries, and bought drugs in quite a few countries. This is happening all over the place. You simply don't buy drugs off of street vendors. Ninety percent of the time it won't even be real, and if it is legit, they're probably working with the cops. Lima, Peru, is well known to have dealers work with cops to bust tourists. San Jose, Costa Rica, we were trying to buy pot from a guy in the center who was loudly advertising when there were a bunch of cops nearby. Needless to say, we didn't. It doesn't take too much intelligence to know when something doesn't seem right. In those cases, it usually isn't. This ad space for sale.
