  1. Professionally, as an OB/GYN... the pain that I deal with is not in the ass (typically). But personally, I am a demanding little smart ass most of the time
  2. Ellsworth AFB, SD was nice most of the time. It was near both the Black Hills, which I LOVED, and the Bad Lands, which are beautiful. Two very different terrains for very different moods and need to relax. The disadvantage is the wind. It always seems to be blowing - that, the MWR and the isolation made for a high suicide rate one of the years that I was there. There also isn't any really active dropzone around there. There might be one cessna dz that's open maybe everyother weekend or so. But... it's on the chop block. So if that's what you want, get there quick.
  3. He doesn't look like he minds it. Seems like a comfy fit.
  4. GUYS!!! You're hijacking all the love and vibes from poor Clay!!!! So now he's been told to STFU and his thread's been hijacked!! Poor clay, we need to send him some sheep!!!! Karen
  5. Alright, let's not get carried away... I mean, were you really getting kicked in the nuts during the first couple years? Had they dropped yet? Ummm.... I don't know what you were told growing up, but medically speaking, most are down at birth.... now, on some, there might be exceptions.....
  6. Clay, Sometimes "today" does suck... especially where you might be. But look forward - not tomorrow, cuz honestly, tomorrow might suck too... I mean REALLY forward... 5 years, where are you going to be, who you will be at that time, the plans for the future.... or even further.... 15years.... But in all of this looking forward stuffs, don't loose site of the details today. A SAW has lots of details, a fight has lots of details.... so look at those too. OK... enough babbling. Just saying "take care" and hurry back (the sheep miss you) And if you need anything.... let me know. Karen
  7. I thought you were busy with your job.... do you really have the time to try harder at being silly? Seeing as you're all growed up now.
  8. I liked the commentary at the end... Other fascinating statistics: 19,706,631 people have taken The Death Test. Of those, 58% were female and 42% were male. The average life expectancy of test takers is 64 years. 70% of test takers have hairy nipples. 9% have had team sex. 4% work in the adult entertainment industry. And 14643 people claim to have leprosy and for the record.... I die at 61 years of age. Means I get to have a whole lot more fun cuz we know this is a true prophecy and no one on the internet lies.....
  9. I had FUN in NYC last Feb after a couple two, three (maybe more) Red Bulls and Vodka (course no one there has GoFast... peasants)
  10. I'll help you.... Buy a Mac. There, problem solved. Karen
  11. I think we should all reflect on the famous words of Dick Solomon (ah.. those wise aliens) "I'm an offensive person, but in a tolerant society is there no place for my kind? Why must everyone like me? Why cant we all just not get along?" (I loved third rock)
  12. Oh... now don't go turning this into a "nice guys finish last" excuse .... I don't believe that story. I'm thinking that you just haven't found the right "nice" girl. I think "true love" does exist (both for girls and guys). I'm not a gushy romantic addlebrained twit (although the Princess Bride is the BEST movie), but some things can not be explained by logic. Sometimes it's all about the feeling and until you feel it, you can't really know what it is.... and unfortunately most people might go their whole life and never felt it. Karen
  13. Here's some info: http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/public-health/phb/phbnovdec02.pdf go to page 242. Spontaneous clearance can (although rarely) occur. Refer to: Sex Transm Dis. 2002 Apr;29(4):196-200. Persistence of Chlamydia trachomatis infection detected by polymerase chain reaction in untreated patients. Joyner JL, Douglas JM Jr, Foster M, Judson FN. CONCLUSIONS: In the absence of treatment, a large majority of patients testing positive for C trachomatis by PCR are likely to remain positive for variable periods of time, increasing the risk of transmission and immune-mediated damage. Hope some of this helps edit to add that if your friend had a cold/flu and took a ZPack over the past few months, that would treat the chlamydia and thus a negative. Karen
  14. OK... I'm not actually in Madison right now, so no room mate there. But you should have a WONDERFUL time there!! I was born and raised there, and LOVED it. Stay up by campus if you want to have fun... lots to walk to there. If you have a car and need privacy, Middleton/ Sun Prarie and some of the burbs are cozy and domestic. Have fun!!
  15. Thank you... there is hope for guys and I think it's vain for a girl to assume that just because he's a guy means that he wants to have sex with her. I think guys sometimes would put girls into the "just friends" categories too. There have been many guys that I'm sure that I've been "just one of the guys" with.... you wouldn't want to screw "one of the guys". (not that I've propositioned them and got a "real" answer... but just from my perceptions) Karen
  16. Shower!!!! If you had to choose one person to sleep with your mate (pick whatever reason - fertility, kidnapping, ect), would it be a stranger or your best friend?
  17. Yup. We gotta go sometime, might as well make it count. The only point that I've found is to make good stories and make the world a better place. That would cover both, cuz even if no one else knew... I could still tell the story. OK... so since you're on the morbid fascination type questions... who would be the six pallbearers at that funeral then?
  18. No poo-hooing and no nay-saying. It's all possible. If you could do any job in the world for one day, what would it be?
  19. but.. you're supposed to ask another question too... like if you could be guarenteed one thing in life besides money, what would it be?
  20. [replyIf you could be a mutant a la X-Men, what would your power be? Rouge... duh! If you could become president... what would be your platform/beliefs?
  21. Less negative people.... Next question. Why is our population becoming so overweight... even though we KNOW better? (not being negative, nope, nope, nope... just curious as to why we have all this information, but yet disregard it....)
  22. I will respect mine as much as the day I got it. Next question: How many roads must a man walk down in his life? OK... more serious one - Why do some people seem to be glass half-empty types and others are glass half full and can you change yours?
  23. I editted my reply... dicha read that? Nooooo.... you just focus on the negative. Look to the positive - the butterflies, the sun shining so bright and pretty... the - ohhh shiny. besides, I bumped your thead back up again.... and said that I was interested in your genome. In geek, that means something crude - I think. Karen
  24. You put the boobies in your attachment.. but not on the title list..... That was one of your mistakes. The other mistake was not telling more about the genetics thing..... edit... sorry, you did have boobies on the thead title... sorry. I was just so excited about your genome. Who cares about boobies?
  25. Love.... an emotion that hard to describe and even harder to limit or "assign." I feel that to assume that the heart has room for only one is rather simple in thinking. I'm not refering to passion or lust of infatuation... but rather a deep connection with someone dear to your heart. I have several friends that are / have been more than "friends," rather guides, and mentors in life. Some I've loved as if I've known them for many lifetimes, others have grown close as their personalities revealed .... Are these friends "competing" for the love with my husband? I don't believe so... others might argue. .... But, closing off and forbidding entry to my heart and soul because it's been "given away" is not in line with my beliefs. just my .02 Karen
