You don't have to be traditional. It's YOUR proposal. Make it meaningful to you and her... find an engagement ring that fits your budget (even if it's from a lesser quality store), chose a stone that suits her personality (not necessarily diamonds) and bend the knee. If you feel you need the expensive diamond one - make that the wedding one. Not traditional, but who cares? She most likely won't.

I'd start off wth people having old bodies that got younger with age until you become a baby and just crawl back in there fall asleep and then after a while just drible out. WAIT!!!!!! That would make my job INCREDIBLY difficult!! I don't like that plan. (what is it with you people?! Men having babies? putting babies back in? No! Not good!)

That's difficult.... Certain Emotions? Anger, jealousy, hate, fear? But those are just neural interpetations of chemical stimulation. If we remove the chemicals (serotonin, dopamine or any of the neurotransmitters) then that could change love, passion and hope. Cancer? If there aren't genetic mutations, then change never occurs. Sometimes change is bad, sometimes change is good. Ignorance? Gives us a starting point to learn. But I would probably change "intolerance." (that or the gag reflex.. I know why the system was set up ... that whole aspiration thing... but it is a bit inconvient )

Agreed. I wouldn't chose any option. Terrorist - 9/11 was wrong. The July 7 bombings were tragic. But what is a "terrorist." Prespecttive is critical on this defination. Are they terrorist or freedom fighters defending their beliefs. And do we not become one when we choose one of the list that "deserves" to die? Drug dealers - Just illegal? Or not? Just those that sell crack? What about those that grow THC for cancer patients? Or those that sell peyote to the Native Americans for religious purposes? What about pharmaceutical companies? What about alcohol or tobacco? Or even caffeine? Drunk drivers? Tragic accidents can and do happen. Alcohol can be a significant factor but then what about the drivers that are driving fatigued? They cause accidents too? Child molesters.... if I had to lean on any of the categories, this would be the highest. Having personal experience with this category, I feel more anger and disgust for them... especially with the current belief that true pedophiles can't be "rehabilitated." But again.... what is a child molester? A 42yo preying on a 9yo? Or a 19yo that is "banging" a 17yo? Society changes those rules so much.... People who batter women.... There are women who batter their husbands too. Either way, spousal abuse is wrong...Domestic violence is more about control. But then again, this poll was about wiping out whole populations .... quite a bit of control there. I think billvon was correct.

I like to think it's more "distracted" than "lazy." With all these conviences, life seems more complicated. It's easy to get bogged down with details and when you feel bogged down, you seem to accomplish less. But when you can cut out the TV, the surrounding noise and foucs, then things get done. (or maybe we're just getting lazier)
