Christmas Wishes I want my Mom to be HAPPY AND PEACEFUL. I want my sisters to stop fighting for two days. I want to see the smiles on the faces of my niece and nephew. I want those that are dear to my heart to KNOW that they are truly special and I want to feel the warmth of those that love me. I want sparkly snow to cover the hills. Soft and powdery... but just moist enough to make wonderful snowballs and I want to get a direct hit when I launch said snowball. I want those that have passed before me to be at peace during the holiday season.... knowing that they are missed but their memories still bring smiles. I want one of those WONDERFUL breaths... like when you're swimming, freestyle, at about 200yds and you turn your head for a breath... when your lungs just become deliciously full. Or if all of that is too difficult - and I know I was asking for a lot - just something simple and elegant. Mikimoto is nice or something like this

My thoughts on marraige are influenced by the fact that my parents were married 28 years.... until the day that my Dad died. It was NOT the best for either of them. I honestly think they should have seperated despite having three children. Sometimes "love" isn't what we thought it was, sometimes "love" isn't caring. Then the bond becomes painful and confining. My mother was constantly walking on eggshells and crying. What image does that project. I'm not saying that my Dad should have "upgraded." Just that the relationship wasn't healthy. Sometimes marraige makes it a lot more difficult to be happy.

Lessons from the one or two tests that I've taken in the past: Don't second guess. On the exam tomorrow, trust yourself. Don't go back and try to change answers.

Depends on the "chick"... depends on the "guy"... depends on the gun. Personally... this chick digs her own guns, but that's cuz they're REALLY COOL. The guy just has to have his own to be as cool.

OK First - ignore the above post. Second - Yes, you made a mistake in forgetting her birthday. But the relationship should be about more than a number on a calendar. In a good relationship, you should make her feel important ANY day, regardless of if it's her birthday or Valentines Day or whatever. And she should return this back to you. Does she have the right to feel hurt? Of course. But I think "YES" you should be forgiven. If she continues to hold this over you.... not a good outlook on the future. Good luck (third - this should be in Bonfire... not enough politics and not even one mention of a gun!) Karen

(whole jeckle and hyde thing.....) "peaceful" solution would be a .22 with a silencer and taking out a tire or two when they announce their presence. But... I would not recommend that.....
