You don't know that he didn't pull a weapon. It doesn't show one from this camera angle, but we can't see the whole story. Just one perspective of it. I was once shown a set of two different views of the same situation... surprising what a difference that can make. You can't assume that you are seeing what all the cops saw. And FOR THE RECORD... I wasn't saying that cuz he beat his gf that he didn't deserve medical care... I was saying that he wasn't innocent and his actions started this chain of events that led to the conclusion... the dog however was an innocent beast that should have been better controlled or kept from harm.

I honestly understand your point... but the dog was innocent in this entire dealing. He didn't start the fight, call the cops, or even ask to be drug out on a dark and cold night to go and bite someone. But yet... he took a bullet. The person in question did deserve a better death. I will definately grant you that. But how much did he contribute to the final response. There are bad cops, and bad decisions made by officers... and bad outcomes... meaning people die. But.... I don't think this guy was completely innocent in this situation (by some of the background now provided, he was beating his pregnant girlfriend....).

Poor dog. That would have been 2 and a half hard minutes for his partner/handler. A friend of mine was a K9 officer and I watched him train a couple of times. Those dogs are highly trained... but I don't know why he would have been released at that time. I also doubt the "shot 81 times" in the title. I wonder what the real story on that video was.

Nope, no leper treatment... I actually prefer to have something in my checked bags. It seems to be the only way you can securely lock your baggage so that the "security" types don't go pawing through my stuff. And if I get one of "those" looks... so be it.

Besides the whole discrimation against women... (cuz it is... but in a weird way it kinda isn't ... but ......) Anyway The important thing is the point of the free State.... and if we, as the people, weren't able to defend against the government (and the militaries of the government) then we wouldn't be a free State. The right to keep and bear arms is to allow for the security of the free State... It's designed to allow us, We the People, to overthrow the government if it became too controlling.... and looking at where we are going now.... I'm not turning in any of my firearms.

Exactly! What would be even better would be a trip into the desert with a machine gun. I'd love to eliminate some unsuspecting cactus. How about the hills of Tennessee instead of the desert? They have unsuspecting cactus in the hills of Tennessee? No but there is a gun range there that has an annual machinegun shoot... and you even have a choice of a large number of guns you can rent... Are you referring to Knob Creek (in Kentucky) or some local machine gun shoot?
