  1. I like Guiness as well. I can also drink Bass, Harp, Red Hook, Shiner Bock....all the way down to Miller Lite. Each has its own place in my drunken, drunken heart. But Foster's? That shit sucks ass! Definitely not "fancy". Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  2. Do a tandem. If you like it, do AFF. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  3. I do not swoop yet, but would like to in the future. Ultimately, the canopy portion of my skydive takes a longer time than my freefall at this point. And being that I pay 21 dollars each jump, why would I not utilize the latte (and longer) portion of my jump doing something? I use that time to play with my risers up high and practice turns for when I want to swoop in the future. If anything, swooping is what will get our sport more recognized in the future. Whuffos cannot see the freefall portion live just yet, but they can see a canopy speeding across the ground. If anything, we should embrace those who have taken the time to learn to swoop properly. Not to mention also: What is better on a full load on a hot day than the extra space resulting from a swooper's low pass? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  4. I wrote this reply. In my experience in my student progression, my instructors took alot of time to explain how using rear risers differed from using brakes and also how different amounts of brakes affected glide. So I knew right off of student status to test my canopy up high to see the different glide and sink points. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  5. Installed? Was this done at Best Buy? Seriously though, I thought cockrings and ballrings were slipped on. I was not aware they needed profession installation. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  6. Oops. I'll see what I can do, but no promises. Derek I think it would be relatively simple. The hardest part would be designing the tables with the correct fields and that is not really that hard. The interface would be easy. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  7. Other "good" movie news: Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy will be out in April. Bad news: It is made by Touchstone which is owned by Disney and from the trailer I saw, it looks to be style more towards American slapstick humor instead of dry British (which is what made The Hitchhiker's Guide so great). On the hand, the cast includes Alan Rickman, ohn Malcovich and Sam Rockwell, so it could be okay. The director appears to be a nobody who has worked on Da Ali G Show. edit to add (from a FAQ on IMDB): "This film is being directed and produced largely by British people. One of the executive producers of the film, Robbie Stamp, was a close friend of Douglas Adams, and Adams's family have been closely involved with the production (his daughter will even have a cameo). There are, in other words, many eyes on this project with a personal interest in maintaining Adams's vision. " Maybe it will be okay after all Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  8. I agree. I have been skipping most of the articles for months now. I miss the articles with the headlines like, "Some dude just got his ass kicked by some other dude," which is then reported as if told by a drunk roommate to his other roommates. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  9. Today's trends that shape our world: Euphemism for female urination. Picture attached. I particularly like the second and the fifth. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  10. That shit uses METHANOL? Damn, that is fucking harsh. Maybe you meant ethanol? From my research, Mekong seems to be a cheap whiskey that is lower in alcohol than most Wester brands. Who wants lower alocohol? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  11. Aww damn, this guy posted kis exact SAME list. Trolls come form all directions. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  12. It is not that is SOUNDS like a scam. That IS a scam. Same one we have been seeing around here for a awhile. Just ignore it. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  13. You lucky, lucky girl. Take it from the white girl with the ghetto booty . . . you don't want it. I can't find pants that fit right . . . EVER. mmmm, ghetto booty.
  14. 97%!!! and your parents still gave you the cheep knock offs? lol kiddn hahaha My parents spent money instead on making sure we got great vacations evey year and that I did not have to pay for college at all. They made me buy my own cars and the like. I think it was a very good lesson to because I like to think I handle my finances pretty well these days.... except for this whole skydiving thing....what a money pit!
  15. Since when did GPA HAVE to be a 4.0 scale? That is just one type. My high school did our averages on the 100 point scale (as in I had a 97 percent average). Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  16. Ugh, everytime i see those earbuds, I just want to scream, "YOU ARE DEGRADING YOUR LISTENING EXPERIENCE!!!" Seriously, earbuds just suck for hearing all the levels in songs. I got my Koss Portapros..they rule. 40 bux. Lifetime warrenty. I guess I ain't cool. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  17. ummm... 1. Skydive and then drinking after a good day...its goes together like lamb and tuna fish 3. If you don't like crazy personalities, you are in the wrong sport 5. Asking what people are doing on a load is not dumb...its smart. I don't know how many times someone new has had to climb over everyone else cause they got on the plane in the wrong order. 9. If you don't open before the green, how exactly do you know you are actually over the correct spot...or that there is not a plane below you? In winter, sure, wait a bit longer, but I still open before green. Spotting is a dying art. I see that your positive list is MUCH shorter than the negative. A break may be in order. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  18. When i was a kid, my parents bought me the cheaper versions of popular stuff. They didn't care if I whined that it was not cool. I just had to suck it up. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  19. He's turning 14. He's more into sports than computers. I'd probably have to help him set all this up on the computer. The blind leading the blind. Both flash cards and hard drive players usually act like drives on your computer. Especially with flash cards, it is just a matter of grapping a music file from your computer and dragging it to the flash card. Also, the flash reader is often USB which means that you plug it in and Windows finds and installs it for you. In other words, it should not be too hard.
  20. If anyone finds it offensive, they need to lighten up! Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  21. Waking Ned Devine is really good Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  22. If you are looking for cheap (as in cost, not quality) go with flash like mailin says. The flash cards are super cheap and being able to change them out is great. Think of them as really big CD's. So instead of carrying around 200 hundred CD's, you could carry 25...and at a much smaller size too. Personally, I have a Dell DJ. It is cheaper than Ipod, does all the same stuff, and when the lithium battery finally dies (as they all do), it is easier to replace yourself. But that it is a hard disk player and a bit moore than $150. But then again, I have 1200 songs on it right now and still have 11 gigs to go! On another note, I would go with iTunes for downloading music. Napster has a monthly subscription fee, but if you ever decide to cancel that suibscription, your music stops working. Also, there is a great piece of software called Mediamonkey which is very handy to burn already owned software. It uses the best mp3 encoder ( called LAME) and is very easy to use and is free. Media Monkey As far as ease of use, they are probably both similar....hard disk versus flash. The main difference is capacity. WMA is microsoft's audio format. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  23. Yup, we had at least 2 students do this last summer: "The slider did not go back up, so I chopped! And then...and then, the slider on the reserve stayed down too so I had to just ride that in anyway!!" Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  24. Yeah, from the sound of it, it would appear to not be wise to use on f-111. The package warns to test a small area of counters or other surfaces for scratching. There are also reviews that say too much pressure caused it to remove wall paint....probably not good for F-111! But I defintely see dirt on the sponge I used for my rig so I think I will use it for light dirt, shout wipes for heavier bits, and a good ole full on wash if I fall right into a mudpit. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
