Has anyone else read this book? I'm almost done with it.. this book is great. It seems like all of Carter's opinions are actually in line with his religious beliefs. What a refreshing change! I'm sending a copy to my brother, who is a proud member of the religious right, and completely approves of Bush. I have a husky/lab mix. He's a great dog, sweet, loves all people, loyal to his owner, loves going hiking/backpacking, loves swimming and playing fetch. He tends to sing a bit when he wants something, and I think that is the husky side of him. He sheds a ton at certain times of the year, but its ok, 'cause we love him. Anyone know of any good scholarships or have any good advice of where to look for some? I've tried the various scholarship search engines without much luck; I'm a middle-class white girl, with little community service (I work and go to school) and no leadership. All I have is a good GPA, some small school-related volunteer things and a bunch of crazy skydiving stories. I'm planning to work as a speech-language pathologist. Go to REI.. this is the only place I have found the best watch in the world. Its a simple black nylon band about 1/4" thick and a round braid. The watch part is about 3/4" long and the watch part itself is a cylinder shape maybe 3/8" inche in diameter. It only shows the time (Digital) but it can show the date as well. It's waterproof too. It clips into itself, you can unclip it and just carry the tiny watch part with you. I love mine, it's got a life-time warranty and is maybe $8. I've gotten really compulsive with my grades. The last several weeks I've been continuously figuring out how each exam would affect my GPA. So I figured out my GPA atleast 20 some times. Now I just got my grades, and it's .015 lower than what I wanted.It's not like the .015 difference would boost me to a 4.0 or something like that.. it's more just an arbitrary number I was shooting for. Am I weird now? Oh.. and I just made TONS of jam for christmas presents (50 jars or so) and I've lined them up on the table in rows and columns that form a harmonious color pattern.
