Hi John, 'Cute photo, says a lot!! Seen this one around before!! One thing about the photo, the guy posting it is telling everyone that his neighbor "Has No Guns in his house!!," and also, he is telling everyone that,"HE DOES!!" Why advertise?? In the eyes of a burglar,"why bother with the "no Guns" house as I can burglarize the "Gun" house when nobody's home, get lots of loot and,"GUNS TOO!!!!" What was it ole' Sir Ike said,"For every action ....." SCR-2034, SCS-680 III%, Deli-out

Hi Thora, Thanks for the photos!! In the groupshot 3rd photo some of the people from LtoR I think that's Jeff Barbanni (dark suit) then Tom Pirus over a few more is Irv Callahan and The prominent guy standing it the white suit is Dan Peters then over a few more is Mike "Rufus" Raible. I have some photos from that time frame and looking at them now,"How young we were!!!" SCR-2034, SCS-680 III%, Deli-out

I find this as ridiculous as I hope every other person finds it. It is insanity to think that inflicting actual harm over a comic is "just a reality". My only point is that there are radicals in every belief system. It's currently in fashion to call muslims fanatics. Whoever uttered these words against the creators of south park clearly falls into that category. However, since I currently live in the middle east, I can say that most muslims share your viewpoint, and mine. They think it's insane that someone in their religion would say something like this. In the world today, I think there are plenty of "other" religious people who would like to separate my head from my shoulders for any one of the posts I've made here in the past few months. Hopefully if their ancient text is the same as your ancient text (assuming you hold religious beliefs, I have no idea) that won't mean that you'll look the other way, or not see it for what it is. I'm sure abortion doctors all over the US feel much less than perfectly safe when they leave work. there are radicals in every belief system. when the belief systems themselves are dismantled, perhaps the steady supply of radicals will dwindle. Hi Rack, Good point, I concur. However, the nut cases on the lunatic fringe exuding this intimidation are worrysome! They have exibited that they are serious,"9/11, publishing video of beheading Americans!!" Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I'm being a little more aware, and beware!! As for the everyday, run of the mill moselim, I've met a few. 'Used ta' work for Grumman Aero F-14 project in Iran back in the mid late 70's. Most that i knew were "nice people!!" So, considering the fringe is not going to relent, I'm not putting my guard down. SCR-2034, SCS-680 III%, Deli-out

I guess about the same stuff that you'd expect from any other people who embrace a religion founded by any other (insert number) century nut case!! ? Hi Rack, 'Ya got a good point there cupcake, but how many of these "other" religions wanna' not so delicately and without any novacane slice your head clean off right between yer ears and yer shoulders cuz' ya' don't wanna play in their sand box?????? To these people I only have one thing to say,"oh 'HELL!!!!' NO!!!" (the accent is on the "HELL!!" ) with all due respects to whoever wrote the song..... Hi Kev, Didn't see or hear anything, I live in NC. The weather channel did mention the landing and show a good video clip of the touchdown from several angles!! The Drag Chute deployment was picture perfect!! FYI "Endeavour" was the first Shuttle to employ the drag chute then all the others were retrofitted. The canopy is 40' dia. ribbon chute using a 4.15second reefing sys. Fun project!! I worked at Irvin Aerospace in the rigging dept. when they won the bid for the program. Well dummy, where's the damn picture? Sparky Hi Spark, You want photo?? OK.! MAR66 SDM page 24 "So you wanna be a Cardinal?" by Bob Gilman I don't have a scanner so I'll try some trick shit with my digital cam tomorrow!! Now for Ironclad Cardinal so the story goes, Don Molitor brought the mug into the Rumbleseat he was listing 30 degrees to port for he had,"In his left hand was the biggest, heaviest, most rust lined drinking mug anyone has ever seen. It was constructed of old cast iron 3" sewer pipe!!" Anyway, Frank did the Supreme Cardidnal ritual with the Mug, gained possession of said mug and invented the game of "Ironclad Cardinal!!" To go fer this one you were supose to be a Pope!! The mug weighs 8 1/2 lbs. empty, holds almost a pitcher of beer and must be picked up with one hand. He says, Willie Armstrong, Tavern co-owner, lifted this mug as if it were a dixiecup of lemonade!! The Ironclads are as follows, 1. Frank Carpenter, 2. Willie Armstrong, 3. Bob Gilman, 4. Chip Maury, 5. Bill Edwards, 6. Jim Fee, 7. Lyle Cameron and 8. Chuck Casteel. The story goes that as of the writing of that piece, Don Molitor had not made an attempt at Ironclad, if he did he would become MUGMASTER!! If you can't find a MAG, I'll Photocopy the article for ya'. SCR-2034, SCS-680 III%, Deli-out

Hi Wengy', Yup, "Round engines" goin' the way of the Rotary telephone!! 'Ta say "Real Airplanes" have "Round engines" is only part of the story, like cars goin' from stick to slush box trannys! Dono' which "they" did first but they stuck another wheel on the front and made "Trikes!" then someone got rid of the stick and put in a wheel to control pitch and yaw!! and of course unless yer flyin' a Pitts or the like, "they" got rid of one wing! So to say real airplanes had Round engines, two wings and two wheels calls up a few great planes!! 'Remember bein' 5 years old and watchin Duane Cole in his "Super Stearman," smoke, wheel pants and all with a wing rider on top doin' the up-side-down ribbon pick up over runway "36" at Hammond Airport, La. with smoke pouring outa da stacks an' the "Sound!" yeah man, the "SOUND!!" of that round engine!!! That was an "Airplane!!" an' "That was Flyin'!!!!!!!" 'Saw my first two "Live!" Parachute jumps that day too, but that's another story. SCR-2034, SCS-680 III%, Deli-out
