Skyvan is an ornament now. It ran out of usable hours and will never see the sky again. The DZO is trying to find a replacement, but have not found one so far. I believe they have 2 great engines, and just need the aircraft to attach them to. __ My mighty steed

The site states that while they CAN use cremation remains, their process extracts the carbon from some of the persons hair. So all of their remains are still handled according to the persons wishes either with burial or cremation. __ My mighty steed

I see a significant snag hazard with that camera system. I'm a video newb and my comment should be taken with that in mind. __ My mighty steed

Back in my more troubled days, I occasionally would be engaged in the act with my first wife while tripping on acid. More than once I just became distracted by whatever and completely forgot what I was doing

Severe. Anyone comes near my canopy with a lit smoke and its their ass. I paid WAY too much money for it to allow some douche bag to burn little holes in it. __ My mighty steed

Not. I have two deaths under my belt already. I drowned as a kid. Clinically dead 2 minutes. Age 31 clinically dead again for a minute and a half from severe blood loss. Obviously resuscitated successfully on both occasions, but I was dead. In the end (assuming it only happens one more time) I will have done it 3 times. Unless of course I never die again, but thats seems unlikely __ My mighty steed

Oops. Wrong mental illness. You are referring to MPD or multiple personality disorder. That is not the same thing as schizophrenia, although they are often confused. __ My mighty steed

That sums it up pretty succinctly

How old were you when you started skydiving?

I didn't get that feeling at all. Being told that you aren't allowed to track would make me ask questions too, as would waiting 3 hours to get set up with gear. If you folks see this guy as a problem customer I hope you NEVER find yourselves in a service job, and if you do I hope I never have to be waited on by you

I understand your motives. The standard recurrency jump with instructor is designed to do just that. Keep you safe. Make sure that you haven't forgotten the important things (like how to open your parachute) in a somewhat more safe environment. If you blow it, you have an AFF instructor with you. Doing a tandem isn't going to refresh you on what to do on a skydive because that tandem doesn't even remotely resemble a regular jump. I got my A license a long time ago, amassed a total of 57 jumps, and then quit for 14 years. I made a standard recurrency jump with an instructor when I returned. You couldn't have forced me to do a tandem. They are for newbs and one time thrill seekers. For sure I was nervous when I made my recurrency jump. Thats normal. But I think its better to refresh your memory by doing exactly what you will be doing on a "normal" jump. My 7.983 cents __ My mighty steed

2 weeks ago I bought a Sony DCR-HC48. MiniDV camcorder. Price was great ($400.00) Good pixel resolution. Shot my very first freefall video with it last weekend and it came out great. Well OK, the second jump came out great. The first jump I had a little issue keeping my subjects in the frame

Tandem??!?! 430 jumps, and its only been a few months since your last jump. In the US with a C license you wouldn't even be considered uncurrent till you have been 6 months on the ground. Go freakin jump man. __ My mighty steed
