I'm looking to order a new Pilot in ZPX Problem is that its a crap shoot on colors because Aerodyne wont provide me any swatches or even photo's of the ZPX fabric and on-line coloring programs just dont tell you what its really going to look like. They have a somewhat limited color selection in ZPX and gave the colors funny names. I cant tell if "Fire" is actually red or a different color all together. Anyone have any decent photo's of their ZPX canopies??? __ My mighty steed

Seems like my interest in jumping comes in cycles. I make a hundred or so jumps and then I lose interest, stop jumping, and then sell my gear to fund some other recreational activity. After a couple years goes by I start to get that jones again, scramble around to scrape together funding for new gear, and then start jumping again. Well I'm at it again. Its been exactly 2 years since my last jump and the jones has come back full force. I'll be ordering some new gear and getting back in the air again in the spring when the new gear arrives. Looking forward to getting off the ground BIG TIME! I'm a silly bastard. I think I gotta hang on to my gear this time __ My mighty steed

Just got my new paragear catalog. Have these people gone crazy??? The price increase in harness/container systems has gone through the roof in just the last 2 years. I'm glad I bought my rig 2 years ago because I'd NEVER be able to afford to get in to this sport today How can we expect this sport to grow when its totally inacessible to the average person? Yeah the skyvan just ran out of time. I think the otter is down south and will hopefully be back soon. All the rest of them who knows? Porter been gone a long time. Had a King Air for a bit but that seems to be gone. Dont know where the helo went but I didnt see it fly at all in the past year and havent seen the caravans for a long time. The 2nd Otter was from another DZ and if there was ever a PAC-750 there it was also from another DZ. Cross keys never owned one. I never saw them do 200 tandems in a day

I wouldn't grumble too much. The formerly awesome fleet at Cross Keys (Skyvan, Otter, Caravan, Porter, and Helicopter) seems to have been reduced to a single Cessna 182 __ My mighty steed

Close but not exactly. You can usually shoot 7.62 ammo in rifles chambered for .308, but not the other way around because the .308 is a slightly higher pressure round and that can potentially screw rifles chambered specifically for the 7.62mm __ My mighty steed

Well thats definitely a much debated issue with lots of folks I really respect telling me that its bullshit. I'm not experienced enough to have an opinion BUT I figure better to do it and not need to than need to and not do it

it's no accident some of them are just evil they climb out of thier case load a mag and go do some dammage all on thier own. Nice looking BTW hurry up and shoot it allready and let us know how the sighting in goes. Sadly it will be a few weeks yet. This beast was NRA rifle of the year in 06. In their testing with match grade ammo it was shooting sub-MOA groups so I'm really lookin forward to seeing what it can do.

DPMS Panther LR-308 AP4 Thats chambered in .308 Winchester, but can handle 7.62mm ammo easily. Detachable carry handle and bipod come in next week

If she really likes you and see's you making an effort, she will be fine if it takes a long time. Deaf folks are usually pretty appreciative when a hearing person takes the time to learn to sign. I never dated a deaf girl, but I was good friends with a couple and learned a lot of sign in the process. It doesnt take all that long to get enough to get by. the rest comes in time. __ My mighty steed

Thats a real dumb excuse. For one thing, sign language uses both hands. IF you are talking about fingerspelling you can learn it with eithr hand unless you are actually crippled. So its a bit of work and effort. She may well be worth it. BTW, this certainly doesnt sound like a horror story to me. Sounds like a good date. __ My mighty steed
