Shick Quatro Razor Dont buy this thing. Sounds good on paper but in practice its pure crap. 4 blades. What a piece of crap. 2 strokes with it and all the space between the blades is clogged and it stops shaving anything. Even if you try to rinse once for each stroke its useless. It clogs up and you cant rinse it out. Only way I found was to use a toothbrush or water pick. Takes 25 minutes to shave with this thing This razor might be ok if you shave every single day but if you are like me (lazy) and shave every 2 or 3 days the thing cant handle that much beard growth. The Mach III is a good razor though. It rinses right out when it gets clogged. __ My mighty steed

Howdy, I've seen a few people using these and cant seem to find out where to get some. They are simply additional fabric to pull over your forearms to generate more drag. Who makes them? Chris __ My mighty steed

Some folks say 4 months is "appropriate". Doesnt matter. Its an absurd rule and no matter how much or little I make I dont let someone else tell me how much I "should" spend on a piece of jewelry. Appropriate??!? For crying out loud. Is it appropriate that I'm supposed to spend thousands of dollars to prove how much I love my wife? Guess what? I have comitted to spending the rest of my life with her and never touch another woman again. I think thats proof enough of my love. Its a rock stuck to a hunk of metal folks. Hideously overpriced as well. Spend as much as you like but I'm not buyin into the crap. Is my willingness to be ripped off by the jewelry industry a sign of my love? I'll bet that men had little to do with the creation of this "rule" __ My mighty steed

If I can infer from your post that you are normally an up, happy type of person but that you are currently feeling a bit blue, I wouldnt rush right out and try to find some "cure" Some sadness in life is normal and will pass in due course. Its only when it becomes the dominant factor in your day to day life that you should seek help. Dont become used to the idea of self medicating whenever you are slightly down or have an "off" day. This practice can lead to a lot of problems. This is NOT an attempt to claim that depression is not real or shouldnt be treated, so any of you that are preparing to flame me, put down your flame throwers I merely want to emphasise that some sadness or depression is perfectly normal and temporary and not cause for undue concern. Just ride that out. it will pass. For those cases where it doesn't pass and becomes a regular thing, you folks should talk to your doctor about possible treatment options rather than trying to medicate yourselves with recreational drugs or folk remedies of questionable value. __ My mighty steed

If there really were that many of you you would spend all your time trying to keep them out of your stuff __ My mighty steed

Nope. Call me stingy if you like. If they want to put up a damage deposit equal to the value of the equipment, then I would lend it out. Otherwise, no way. You see, I purchased my gear with a one time windfall. If it were lost or damaged I would not be able to afford a replacement for a long time. If I loaned it out and someone damaged it or destroyed it and couldnt replace it I would pretty much have to quit jumping. Then theres the other thing. What if I loaned it out to someone and they bounced? Of course it was on them but even so I would feel partially responsible anyway. I dont want to have to live with something like that. I'm not ever going to borrow someone elses gear and I'm not lending mine out. Nope. __ My mighty steed

I voted Bonfire because discussing the life of Ronald Reagan isnt the same thing as expressing political opinions. Just because he was a politician (among other things) doent mean that any discussion referencing him needs to go where political discussions go. He was a man. __ My mighty steed

I just put tape over the insides of the ear vents to keep the noise/wind down. Regarding the painting, take a look at the skydiving section on my website. Better yet. Look at the attached pic. This is my pro-tec which I painted myself __ My mighty steed

I used to have that same feeling at the end of the day and the day after. 1 or 2 jumps was all it took and I was wiped out. The more I jump the less I experience that though. I believe its a reaction to being mentally and physically keyed up for a day. Even though you only make a couple jumps your body is cranked all day. The more you jump the less your body will have this extreme reaction. Now I can make 4 or 5 jumps and I still have some juice left over. I stand up almost all my landings now so no aches and pains associated with biffed landings the next day. Like anything, once your body adjusts to the activity it wont wipe you out as much. __ My mighty steed

Hard for me to say the requirement for CSPA dropzones. If you attend a US dropzone and aquire a USPA license, then its pretty much as I described. See my own experience after being away for 9 years as an example. Your milage may vary but its probably good enough as a rough guideline. Best bet is to inquire of the people that run the dz you are most likey to be jumping at and see what they say. __ My mighty steed
