Found out yesterday that I will probably lose my father soon. Metastatic Hepatocellular Carcinoma He had a liver transplant 3 1/2 years ago and they found the cancer in the old organ after removal. He has been clear of it ever since but now its come back in his hip. His Doctor basically told him that there is no treatment or cure for this. The only treatment for primary is transplant and theres nothing at all for metastatic. Additionally, because he is immunosuppresed by the anti-rejection meds, his body wont fight this and it will probably progress rapidly. So, currently there is no standard treatment for this type of cancer. He is only 65 years old and I'm not prepared to write him off just yet and am interested in anyone that has any information on experimental types of treatments. Any and all info is welcome. __ My mighty steed

I would say that failure is when you quit trying. Up till that point you simply have not yet suceeded. I might never suceed but I wont ever fail either because I'll never quit trying Well...till I'm dead anyway. At that point I will have failed to live I guess __ My mighty steed

You will not gonna get a decent result by trying to get people responding to this thread. If you want reasonably accurate results you need to find a different method. You need to sample the same amount of non-jumpers as jumpers to get unbiased data and in this forum you cant control the numbers that respond. Additionally, in this thread you are likey to get a higher percentage of positive results because people that have not suffered from it wont reply so your data for your skydiver group will be skewed all by itself. For myself, I'd be curious to hear your results if you should find a fair sampling method. __ My mighty steed
