My Zumba class is a lot of fun. We've also got a really good instructor- great personality, good energy, etc. Its funny though because before she was "Zumba" certified, the class was just "Latin Cardio Dance" and we were all so used to that class and her method of teaching that she really need to ease us into the whole "Zumba" thing. Its similar but different!

I've got a Mio watch- the kind that you put your fingers on the sensors. The heart rate monitor is very accurate and you can program in your personal information- sex, age, weight and resting heart rate. I do find the calorie counter (that tells me how many calories I am burning) to be a little "stingy" compared to the machines I use at the gym, but that also is probably more accurate because it does have all my personal information. There's no chest strap and it is very affordable (less than $40.00 at Walmart when I got mine) although it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some of the other models. And I have no issues with the accuracy of the heart rate monitor at all.

Oh no! Now I feel bad! I am truly sorry!

I like my answer better. He said boob koozie- wouldn't that be a holder for boobies?

Boobies - Help me prove or disprove this theory

Yeah, where's that option? And no, I'm not posting them either! -
I don't really understand why anyone would need to make up an "excuse" not to skydive. Can't she just say she isn't interested? Its not for everyone.

A commission is something you agree to pay via contract. If don't have a contract with a broker/realtor agreeing to pay a commission, you aren't under any obligation to pay one. In Illinois, commission is normally a seller's expense. You enter into a contract with the listing broker to pay a certain % in exchange for them listing your home for sale and showing it. The listing broker will normally pay a portion of that to the selling (buyer's) broker, the brokers then pay the individual agents. And like anything, there are good brokers and RE agents who will work hard for you, get you the best price, do a lot of the leg work for you and essentially earn that commission. There are also bad ones who will list the property then sit in their office waiting for a check.

I had a really tough/ good lower body workout with my trainer last night. Tonight is Zumba and whatever I can squeeze in before the class- maybe some abs and push-ups, bicep curls ....... I usually get to the gym about 45 minutes before the class starts and I'm generally too whipped after class to do anything but drive home.

So I had my metal out.....and this is how it went.

Nope- I know people who have had the rods removed from their tibias. Depends on the doctor and the circumstances. Hardware removal is a tough sell for some orthos, others will suggest and strongly recommend it. To the OP, if the hardware is bothering you and your doctor is reluctant to remove it, I would ask why and depending on his answer, consider a 2nd opinion. There are risks with any surgery which you need to weigh against any potential benefit. Some people leave their hardware in forever, go on with ther lives, skydiving, etc. and it never bothers them. -
I'm not sure what you mean by that .......... Have you seen his AFP videos too? Sorry Warped, couldn't resisit ............ I'd love to see you get back in the air as long as your knees can handle the landings.

Tartar? I'm not sure about that but I remember in Germany having this stuff that was like a raw pork sausage- we'd spread it on bread with butter and cheese for breafast! YUM! Took some convincing to get me to eat it though because I was raised to believe meat- pork especially- had to be thoroughly (and I mean excessively) cooked in order to be safely consumed!
-
Why did you buy milk in a box anyway? That reminds me of when I was in Europe many years ago and you couldn't find a real carton or bottle of milk anywhere, just that boxed stuff that didn't even need to be refrigerated. YUK! All the fat, zero flavor! Thank God that never caught on here in the US!

Used Cars, Banks, Police and the Great Domino Effect. (Long)

The moral of the story? Avoid Chase Bank like the plague. They aren't the only lender freezing equity lines these days, but bouncing and clearing a check at the same time? That seems pretty typical for Chase based on what I've seen over the years. -
I am confused...how does naughty=bad?? Well, I went to Chicago and handed a homeless person an umbrella when it was raining. That should qualify as bad. I KNEW IT!!!!!! She's a MAN!!
-
I'm sure there are some legal notice and publication requirements, so that's probably what the man gave you. Like I said, as long as you have a lease, you have rights but once the foreclosure is finalized, you might not like your new landlord(s). I'd just continue making your payments as agreed unless or until you get legal notification to send them somewhere else. You don't want to be the one to break the lease and give anyone cause to start eviction proceedings until you are ready to move.
-
So, what exactly were you given? Were you served with an eviction notice? If you've got a valid lease, that runs with the property which means you have some legal rights even if the owner loses the property to foreclosure or auction. I'd still start looking for a new place to live but they can't just put you out on the street. Also, foreclosures can take several months if not longer so you should have a little time.
-
OK, I give up! She's Mother Theresa (in leather and with a whip of course........)
-
Have you ever been in Chicago on a rainy day? There are more umbrellas in the trash than there are being used. Besides, if you are going to do a good deed, do it. But why hop online and brag about it after the fact?
-
Sorry- I forgot that was the whole point of the thread since her other one got locked.
-
Umbrellas are useless in downtown Chicago more often than not. He would have been better off with a towel, a jacket or a sandwich if he was truly homeless. Your umbrella is probably already in a trash can.

I spend a lot of time in the gym these days but its not so "someone will love me". In fact, I think its more about finally liking myself enough to take better care of myself and take charge of my life. That's funny because when I started, it really was all about losing weight to look better. More self confidence, getting stronger and feeling better were added perks I really didn't expect. Oh, and by most people's standards, I am still "fat", just a little less fat than I used to be! I think I'm a little to fond of food to ever be "Hollywood thin!"
-
You get points for starting an honest thread and expressing an honest and very commonly held opinion. Whether we want to admit it or not, fat people repulse most of us even if we are fat (or far from perfect) ourselves!
