I dont kow what your talking about. I got jumps in this weekend, at altitude no less not just cloudy H-n-P's from slightly above 2K. Blame what ever you want but not the Beautiful Pacific North West for your weather woes... I am going to be down from Seatle for a camp and some tunnel on Sat and Sun. I am flying in Thurs night and wanted to know if anybody was going to be around on Friday.... I figured that there was going to be plenty of jumping on either DZ but was wondering if any of you people were going to be jumping Friday. I figure that you can never have enough practice at making the baby. That way when your ready to go for it your warmed up and not getting cumming off the bench... Practive practice practice and as a side dont have a kid till your in the 30's , you should have gotten lots out of your system and be in a better position to raise the child. If it happens sooner fine but at least get a good 5 years of marriage in before hand...... just my $0.02 We had our daughter at about 5 years of Marriage... Scraps to learn the machine and how it works with different materials and stitch patterns is a really good one but the biggie I found was to start slow when learning... You can take your big ass foot and slam it down and you will get something but practice gives consistent straight stitching and as you get the hang of that the speed develops! IF your starting/learning your not a pro so treat it like learning to fly a parachute. You don’t go to the sub 100 cross-braced speed demon on the first few go!! Sewing can be pretty fun! I went a good number of years ago when I was in Graduate school.. If your in college and even if you dont have a team you should go! It was a great time and it was easy, at least when i went, to get on a pick up team for RW. You can always shoot acc. and style... Well worth the trip and tons o fun....... Even with low jump numbers, I dot know the rules now but then if you had under 100 jumps you could cpmete in the 2 Way event... Scott "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

Damn, you have a mean streak.. If your a Blue Devil, why the Wahoo love? For that matter, Why would anybody have Wahoo love. I know they are most likely the #1 Football team in Charlotsville and maybe the #2 team in VA behind the Hokies, but come on, they are a bunch of Wahoo's... When I have sold a rig or a parachute I have included a "Bill of Sale" with the S/N of the item or items for the purchaser to have. Dont know if it is anything that I sould be doingit, but if nothing else the person is getting the S/n's in a single place. Skydiving Fatality Rates Over the Years

I saw that graph as well somewhere. I seem to recall the rate was similar over the years but the reasons seem to have transitioned. This was, I assunmed, due to improvements in equipment. Not many gear failures now... Scott "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!" -
It might be doddgy but I think the seller is a business of some sort... Clearly stateds they dont kow about the rig or equiptment. Could be a pawn shop or the like. Maybe could be selling from an estate sale, I am really not sure.. Funny yeah but if it is stolen gear based on the seller it is probably not stolen by them... Just my $0.02 Scott C. Saw it on Skydiving movies before. I am curious about the jumper? If he saw the plane, which it seems he did as he was looking at it for a numbe of seconds (according to camera view), why did he keep going towards it after the breakoff? Would not have been that close if he had turned a little tothe left on his track. Wuld hve taken him away from the plane as it wwould be moving to the right of the jumper...
