I nearly had to run down about 10 of them on the way home today when they were walking down middle of road with their tops off drinking lager out a can. Why aren't we allowed to carry guns again?

Hey, I acquired laptop that doesn't seem to power up. Adapter is definately fine but still wont work. I tried taking it apart earlier today by taking out the screws on the back but that did nothing. Gently levering the plastic just made it flex. Any tips? Do they hide screws under labels or the rubber feet? Its an old Advent L8400. We used to use it to run one of the machines in the workshop. Tried googling but couldn't find much advice

None, I learnt my lesson from that on other things and paid them all off excpet for one which I normally use for online ordering for extra protection. The rest comes out my current account using debit card so I am not owing anything through skydiving... just cars... that I don't even have anymore *sigh*

One thing I have noticed about the skydiving world is if someone tries to tell you something they often have to tell it in a patronising or sarcastic way. I don't know why that is and I don't paticularly mean online either. It happens at the DZ too. I remember when I started my apprenticeship and people expected me to know everything about the job. I had to explain that I wasn't one of those fully qualified trainees you so often find I don't think I'm a know-it-all so when people talk down to me it really puts my back up. -
You knows it ITS COMING HOME.....

I used to be against allowing people to posess guns but having worked for police for just over 2 years I think people should have the right to protect themselves in the worst case scenario. I think the trouble is if gun posession was allowed in the country it would be too much change too quick. How is it fair that I could be robbed, even in my own home, without a fair fight? If we were allowed I'd m ake sure I was better equipped and better trained than any scumbag could be. Of ocurse this would all be subject to vetting procedures

I dont know what game you were watching but it looked preety easy ride to me. Few worrying moments but no problem

130MPH in this... (see attachment) Surprisingly it didn't feel that fast as was on a huuuuge big wide circuit but when go into the chicanes you appreciate the speed your carrying Oh and I think about 140-150 on tha back of a ZZR-1100. Was scary being passenger tho

Hello mate, thats odd, didn't realise you guys checked the forum. Yeah I definately have an interest. Its something different and unique and I definately want to have a go when the skill level is up. Seeing your exit was awesome, I had my head out the door until you were out of sight Best of luck to you and wiggy, hopefully see you around again sometime, thanks for your advice!

Hey, yeah cheers, I have listened to that. Was quite good show but not very informative. I think only real pointers that come out of it is she recommends at least 100 skydives (BPA recommends at least 200) and to be able to fly your body in all dimensions so that reinforces the freefly. Was wondering if anyone had any idea for good progression

Hi, Now before everyone starts getting mighty saying about experience levels I'm well aware of that and I don't intend to rush into anything. I would like to be good after all and time spent at each level/discipline is time well spent. You may remember I showed interest in skysurfing, well this weekend I was fortunate to share a couple of loads with UK gold team and watching the exits from the aircraft door and the video afterwards was awesome. Whilst being a long way off getting near that discipline I wondered what people thought might be a good training platform prior to attempting skysurfing. For example I am aware that good body control in all orientations is important so a good time spent freeflying is a good starter (but not at expense of belly skills in initial stages), does anybody have any other thoughts about what is good. Maybe what you tried before hand or wish you had spent a little more time on before strapping a board to your feet. Thanks people!

I don't know but they must have had to fabricate an extra long chin strap to go around that huge unnatural square jaw
