THeres always some idiot who swear you get worse injuries by wearing a seatbelt. Yeah course you do. That nasty bruis across your chest and shooulder is horrendous compared to the reconstructive facial surgery

I thought it was quite good although alot still remains unanswered. Did he pull out his PC or was it still in BOC? Was it a cypres fire that released reserve or did he try EPs himself? Whatever happened I think its fair to say we need to pay more attention to our kit, we are a very trusting bunch with what is really a very serious piece of equipment. Paticularly those who leave their kit at the DZ. Also did you notice the free plug for dropzone.com

Hahah brilliant. The best 'stunt' so far was spunk-chops. Basically they all had to wank in a jar for a week and whoever had the least had to wash their face in all the others manky old spunk Actually made me physically sick! :D Only on DVD tho, I don't think they were allowed to show it

Do you have experience of doing this procedure?
-
Sorry, I hang my head in shame. It clearly talks about what exercises you should be proficient at before thinking about downsizing. Therefore parts of it are a downsizing guide, no? Having looked again to double check, the title is 'Downsizing Criterion', whilst yes I do appreciate it discusses mimimum size.

I like someone who doesn't beat around the bush

Its a distraction, as is doing make up, eating, smoking. (never understand why people do that in their cars) It is impossible for someone to not be affected as they arent giving driving their 100% attention, especially if not hands free. In the UK you get £30 fine at the moment, I personally would rather see people being issued penalty points on their licence and that definately goes for professional drivers like HGV drivers or delivery vans.

I think 2. One for very first jump, one for A licence, but no doubt many more to come *sigh*
-
So you owe this other DZ two crates then. One for A licence and one for first jump there! Tut-tut. Ground this man until beer payments are up to date
-
Looking at Brian Germain's canopies I saw this article on the website. Thought other people might like to have a look... http://www.bigairsportz.com/pdf/bas-sizingchart.pdf
-
In Ireland its an offence to have mobile phone turned on in your car or so I'm informed
-
Haha, well don't show your face down the DZ again until you have a crate for them! Yeah gear can be expensive, try and shop sensibly. I just got my rig completed finally.
-
Well done mate. Felt good, now get your own gear and your jump prices will really be slashed! By the way... did you buy the beer?
-
Wheres the damn crying icon? We are out, we deserved to win dammit!
-
I know that might seem odd. We try our best. I actually think volunteers like myself are more in tocuh with the real world than career coppers. Bit like the military, you become a bit detached and live in your own world

I think people are missing the real point we have a kinfe amnesty. Its not so much to get knives off nasty people. When someone is sentanced for being in posesession of such a weapon it will be brought up that they had ample oppurtunuity to surrender the item without facing prosecution adn they didnt. This will refleect in the punishment they receive. In short get caught with a knife from midnight tonight (when amnesty ends) your gonna get the fucking book thrown at you, and rightfully so.

Any blade of length over x number of inches is illegal to be carried in public and you'll be nicked for being in posession of bladed article. Any blade... and I mean any locking blade is illegal regardless of length. So small penknives are OK as long as blade doesn't lock into place. Also remember that offensive weapon is a very broad term which covers any article adapted, made or intended for doing injury or damage. (not verbatim but good enough) This can include a baseball bat, a sharpened credit card, a screwdriver, a pole or pretty much anything. The onus is on the person to prove their intent of safe use of article. In this istance the police do not have to prove why it was going to be used as weapon. Also be aware of weapons of offense (different to offensive weapon). These are items that may be used in the process of an offence. Such as rope to tie up a security guard or handcuffs. Not to mention the firearms act preventing anyone carrying any firearm or any dispenser which discharges a noxious or toxic substance. This covers CS, pepper spray or similar items. In short, in the UK, if your caught with absoulutely anything you can be nicked, even a bunch of keys. Police just try to apply common sense where possible and also arrest to pursue investigation. A copper will not interview you at side of road. You'll get thrown in 'the factory' and 'processed' until you can be dealt with adequately. Hope that clears up the laws

Looked like they had hump with officials. Or Heinze did anyway.... strokers! Nice one Germany

Way to go Germany. It'd be nice to see the host go to the final.... and then us kick their ass on their own turf. MWHAHAHA!

That is one of my favourite skydiving moments so far, but don't worry you'll be doing plenty more things to make you smile too. We have only touched the tip of the iceburg
