As I am digressing from studying for my final tomorrow morning at 8a.m., I am theorizing that my friend (an English Major) probably bamboozled me with his ability to construct non-existent vernacular. I believed him on the basis that he previously educated me about the word "sesquipedalian". This word can be used in a similar fashion, although usually prompted by slightly different circumstances. For example: "Anti­dis­establishment­arianism", often referred to as one of the longest words in the english language is definitely sesquipedalian. *Note "anti-dis" is in fact a double negative in the word itself. I just called my old friend, asked him, and he had no idea. Now I am sure he was bamboozeling. He did however tell me of a new cool word I will certainly use, in particular when referring to my amazing girlfriend: Cherubic: having a sweet nature befitting an angel or cherub; "an angelic smile"; "a cherubic face"

I used to be a big fan of a word I unfortunately forgot, but would love to be reminded of. I searched for it high and low but can't find it. I think it starts with "C" and the definition is: "overly verbose" It is a lengthy word. I love to use it when someone (such as some of the people above) spits out a word i don't understand. I simply responded with: "Don't be so....." This then unexpectedly produced the "deer in the headlights" look onto THEIR face. Unfortunately I associated with too many non-pretentious people and didn't have enough opportunities to express this word and it faded from my memory. I was walking through Central Park in August when a downpour hit. I ran to a shelter where there were a bunch of people, including two young people from Romania and France. In our conversation I found out this guy is a badass cook in a pretty cool restaurant in Paris.
