I went to the Clubhouse in Dallas last night (Nightclub Owned by former members of Pantera) There were flowers, candles and other items stacked 5ft deep for like 100' outside the club...Huge loss here in Dallas... --

This guy that I work with just called me and told me he is going to buy a surplus canopy at an Army Navy store, and let a friend tow him behind his 4-wheeler. He wanted to know if he could borrow my rig to try it. After I said "hell no" ....he went on to ask whether he should get a round or square, big or small.....blah blah....I tild him to get the biggest round he could find... He is going to do this next Tuesday...There is no talking him out of it....I assured him that he would not walk away from this but he wont listen to me..... Anybody got any other advice? (I will get video for Real TV) --

I just got my friend out of an MIP. (Minor in Possesion). We had to go to court twice but when it came time to enter a plea, we pleaded innocent and requested a Jury Trial. She was really nervous and felt bad that we were 'causing trouble'. I told her that if we make it a pain in the ass for them (jury trial) they would dismiss it for sure.....They did and I saved the $275 fine. Plus, she is cute as hell and Im sure the DA looked at her and figured the Jury would love her. I do the same with speeding tickets. Another trick, NEVER give your insurance card when getting a ticket. Always be really vague and make it seem like you don't have insurance. Sometines, they will forget the speeding and just write you an insurance ticket, which will be dismissed when you show your card at the court. Every time she comes over to my house, she wears my Bonehead and I wear my Beer Dispenser Football Helmet. Mike EDITED because I am on cough syrup with codene and misspelled everything. --

Is this video the coolest thing you have ever seen?
Duckwater replied to Duckwater's topic in The Bonfire
I don't know what it is about the Goddamn French and how they are soo talented. A friggin 21 year old French guy named Xavier DeLapparent is one of the best aerobatic pilots in the world. He won the World Aerobatic Championships at age 21. Unheard of.....and the weather in France Sucks....He couldnt of practiced that much. Unbelieveable natural talent. Makes me hate the French all the more -

I have watched this 1000 times and I still can't get over how cool it is....I embedded the video on my homepage (Quicktime Plugin Required) www.mikeskaggs.com I have seen some crazy shit in aviation and skydiving but this, by far, is the coolest thing I have ever seen. Mike ----- -
When 911 happened, Muslims en-masse cheered like there was no tomorrow. When Oklahoma City happened, no big groups of people cheer. When some nut bombs a clinic, Churches don't all cheer and Praise. Trial By Jury - The Most Idiotic thing in the Constitution
Duckwater replied to Duckwater's topic in Speakers Corner
Iam VERY serious. OJ Jurors were quoted as saying "lot's of people have the same blood type" when asked how they overlooked the DNA evidence. Trials are too complicated for the average Joe. -
Trial By Jury - The Most Idiotic thing in the Constitution
Duckwater replied to Duckwater's topic in Speakers Corner
I think the OJ trial, and now the Peterson trial, are demonstrating the inherent flaws in our judicial system. Trial by Jury is idiotic. To think that you can pull 12 people off the street randomly and expect them all to be able to rationally and logically decipher guilt or innocence from the (biased) opinions of the prosecution or the defense is illogical. Random people off the street, categorically, are not intelligent or educated enough to decide someone's fate with all the science involved in trials nowadays. I propose we write a Constitutional Amendment to revamp out judicial system into something similar to a military court martial. We would have a panel of 7 elected Judges that would decide the fate of all defendants. These Judges would be educated on all forms of evidence and would hopefully not be influenced by Showboating Attorneys or the Media. Think of how much money states would save and how much faster trials would proceed without educating the ignorant public every time on legalities and wasting time allowing showboating attorneys to strut their stuff in front of a easily entertained Jury. Why do we hold a Constitution written 200 years ago so dear? Corproate America has shown that a Business Plan written 20 years ago is flawed. I think the Constitution is in dire need of updates. I would have fired the blonde Tommy Boy looking guy (CEO of Lovesack) because he let the old cab driver (Richard) carry all the bags and he lied to that girl that was afraid of heights. I alsow would have ashed to wear my rig with no harness and 'accidentally' fell off the beam. --

I was at the gym yesterday morning and all the housewives are watching their standard crap. I then see some skydiving on a channel called "view'? I see the shark and just about everyone tandem rated at Perris. I guess there is a thing called "manhunt" and there were at least 30 of these guys were wearing combat boots and white underwear. So, (Insert Favorite Instructor Name) strapped a hairless dude in his undies for a "ride". I had to quit working out to go barf. These guys then apparently hung out all day (in their boots and undies only). Thank God I was not there to witness the carnage. They got a prize for skydiving - A bottle of Nair.....For Real.

Why is there a helicopter flying so low around Chicago?
Duckwater replied to Vallerina's topic in The Bonfire
I don't know if they are used ALL the time. Certainly it is overkill for civilian use. Careflight here in Dallas has a fleet of Bell 222's and Agusta 109's. The Bell 407 is my favorite helicoper. I have seen it do things helicopters are not supposed to do. We flew CLOSE formation off one in the 412 I was in. http://www.mikeskaggs.com/IRL2004.html -

Duckwater replied to Vallerina's topic in The Bonfire
That Helicopter is a Bell 412, just like this one here that I recently flew. 412 are not used by News organizations and are usually too expensive (7 Million) and put down far too much rotor wash for air ambulance. Almost never used for corporate. Best bet is Chicago PD or some Govt. Agency. I can't find any obvious 412 in Chicago. -
Hey Keely. She IS going to be out of town at her brothers wedding so you can fly in and go with. I think the after party is at my house.
