  1. Because most "regulars" probably know who sent it because they've seen the posts made and know who's pissed off who recently. Anyone else could just read back a few days posts or so of the person that received the PM and have a good idea who it might be or at least be able to narrow it down. Just because the name isn't provided in the thread, it's damn sure not anonymous. In my opinion, the author of said message wanted to vent anonymously.. But the receiver of the message has absolutely no obligation to keep said message anonymous.. Listen.. If you attack someone privately, there's nothing saying that person shouldn't hit back publicly.. Besides.. You just said something to piss the person off - in my book public humiliation is fair play!! It's not necessarily what I would do, but what the hell do you expect?! Bottom line is if you don't want something you said to be repeated - don't fucking say it in the first place!!! The internet is NOT private, and squeek can do whatever the hell he wants with *his* messages! (Even if it is considered slightly "uncool".) 2. We should have our own bloody lanes and no speed limits!! Let nature take it's course and weed out the reckless bikers!! Anyway, they're unlikely to injure anyone but themselves!! *sigh*.. I just got my motorcycle and it's not even powerful and already I'm finding it very tempting to speed.. It's just TOO MUCH FUN! 3. Agree 100%.. Condoms only exist for 2 reasons: 1 - preventing the man from spreading his inferior genes 2 - preventing the man from spreading his diseases Either way, I am in no way inclined to deliberately remove it in the manner you describe!!! Wall Sits

When I say I haven't been very active over the past month, I mean I've only been running every other day & doing yoga 4 instead of 7 times per week.. But the main thing is I haven't seen my boyfriend in the last 3 weeks, which normally keeps me *very* fit!!! AH ha ha!!! I would say I'm in better-than-average physical condition, so maybe it's not really fair to compare.. Edit: 3 minutes, 4.4 seconds this morning and MUCH harder.. Absolute agony after just the first minute, but like all these things it's more of a mental challenge than people realise. I can tell I wimped out and probably could have held it longer if I just pushed myself.. I'll keep trying

Yep - I'm not a cheater. And I reckon 10 minutes must be possible.. But then I haven't seriously tried for that long, so although it *seems* achievable, I might be COMPLETELY underestimating the difficulty in doing so!!! Ha ha ha!! But then, people do triathalons and iron mans, so surely this is not at all that difficult I've done a marathon - I'm sure I can sit for 10 minutes.. Well.. I'll at least give it a bloody good go over the next few days!! Ha ha ha! I'm gonna try that again tomorrow - I *know* I can do better.. 2 minutes sounds ridiculously low!! Thanks for getting the idea in my head - it's a pretty simple challenge (not easy, just doesn't require anything complicated)

I'm going to try that right now and time myself - will let you know... Holy crap - that really burns.. First attempt: 2 minutes, 5.8 seconds.. I seriously thought I could do more, but then I haven't done much exercise over the past month or so.. 8. All I know is I saw "It's Complicated" and I thought it was lame. I chuckled in some bits, but I have to say that overall I didn't particularly warm to any of the characters. The story wasn't exceptionally clever, the jokes weren't especially hilarious, and I thought it dragged on a bit on top of all of that.. Overall, I would rate it as merely: "meh".. 9. The fact that there weren't any prices should have been your first clue that it would cost an arm and a leg.. You know the old saying: "if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it!!" 10. The real bummer is that the entire format/syllabus is changing for the next sitting in May. So I have to pay for a brand new set of courses, which is going to set me back another grand. I can't stop crying and I have to be at work in an hour. This sucks. 11. I just got my results for my accounting exam. I ran out of time and thought I got a really terrible result.. Turns out I missed it by only 3 marks. Which makes the running out of time even more upsetting. There. It should at least cheer you up that somewhere half-way across the world someone else is suffering!! No more Beaver

I don't get it.. I thought they wanted to increase their readership amongst the younger generation.. Doesn't it's current title achieve this?!! Just think.. You're innocently looking at porn when an educational magazine pops up.. You're pretty bored, so you start reading it and next thing you know, you're hooked!! Where's the problem?!! 13. He seems to have failed entirely in his calculations.. The real answer as to why he can't get a girlfriend is really very simple: he's spending all his time doing pointless maths!! 14. I promise I'd never pee on your rug. I know firsthand how upsetting that can be. What about leg humping? Leg humping is acceptable - provided it's not done on unsuspecting guests Edit: I was just suddenly wondering which "rug" we were talking about "There is no problem so bad you can't make it worse." - Chris Hadfield « Sors le martinet et flagelle toi indigne contrôleuse de gestion. » - my boss

  21. Shah.. If I told you I had a dog and this dog was pissing on my carpets, you wouldn't tell me to go get myself a new dog that is better house-trained!! Not that I'm comparing my man to a dog that needs to be house-broken, but I'm just saying I don't think the solution is to find myself a new guy.. I mean, thanks for boosting my ego, but the truth is I like *this* guy and the situation is complicated.. Look. If it doesn't work out, *then* I will start to think about where to find myself a good guy.. But that is not at the moment what I'm trying to figure out. 22. Have to agree.. Unlikely to be belt tension on alternator (or otherwise faulty alternator) because your car would mostly be running on your battery, which would quickly kill it. Sounds like your battery is (mostly) holding it's charge (because you can start the car - which is what takes the most energy). You may need to simply top up one (or more) of the cells in your battery, or indeed replace it. Do you have a multimeter? Check for electrical leaks.. A Haynes manual should tell you what connections are what. If you *do* replace the battery and the problem persists, make sure the battery has some kind of replacement warrantee.. That way if whatever your problem is kills the new battery, just act dumb, bring it back and say it doesn't work & you need it replaced as per the warrantee. You won't have solved your problem, but you'll still have a brand-new battery that works! 23. You could always just put it in the bathtub fill it up to the point that the clothing is just covered with warm water.. put in the laundry detergent.... put on a pair of shorts and a tank.... and do a workout of running in place for 30 mintues on the clothing... drain the dirty water(put the clothing to one side of the tub so when you are stomping on it the dirty water can drain and fill it up deeper this time with fresh water and repeat for another 30 minutes... drain.. and refill the water and repeat for a ten minute cool down.. get good sturdy hangers and hang the clothing up over the bathtub( get one of the spring loaded shower curtains to place over the middle of the bathtub). benefits.. a good workout.. and clean clothing. That would only work if I had a bathtub.. I don't. I have a shower. This place is in a nice location, and the rent is reasonable, but the flat itself is a bit shit. But hey.. Ya get what you pay for.. *sigh*.. Edit to add: And *yes*, washing machines have the added benefit of getting me off whilst the clothes are getting clean.. DEFINITELY not worth going without.. 24. I wouldnt worry all that much about leaving/ammending your current lifestyle for someone your willing to take a chance on... Havent you seen Good Will Hunting?. Its not a bad thing to at least try to explore the outer parameters of your own comfort zones. A big jet-setting lifestyle (minus the cash expenses) could be very exciting. Coincidentally, what does he do for work and what country is he moving to? Some good points.. But someone kindly sent me a PM pointing out another pretty obvious point - which is that once the baby is born I'll hardly be a priority in his life.. And I can't really fault that logic. He's an IT consultant, btw. So he could work anywhere. So could I if I set myself up independently.. But I'm not yet at that stage in my career. Anyway.. Thanks for the input guys. 25. Just did 2 loads of laundry by hand - it took longer than putting them in the washing machine, my hands have blisters and my back is killing me.. When I find a new place it will DEFINITELY have a washing machine or at least be a hell of a lot closer to the laundromat..
