  1. I guess I missed the part where you were a witness.
  2. I believe they're called Draggin Jeans or something like that, and are reinforced with Kevlar. Good stuff.
  3. What's is unfair about selling stuff for less money? Given the nature of some unions, I can't say that I blame them. Price fixing? Doubtful. I haven't seen any complaints about them having lower prices yet. It called using vendors overseas because they can deliver products of near equal quality at lower prices, which means better prices for the consumer and better gains for the stockholders. Someone has to provide jobs for people that can't get jobs because of a lack of experience or education (which isn't the case for everyone that works there). Wal-mart pays pretty much the same as most retailers. Why are they evil when Albertsons or Target isn't? Having more money does impove people's standard of living.
  4. Some people do, which I don't understand. That's part of the reason I try to avoid going myself. The only reason I go is if I'm picking up alot of groceries or household items at one time (and then only if I know I don't need any help finding anything). Not an uncommon thing at all.
  5. You claim you know it as a fact based on talking to a few people at one store? You don't know, you just think you do.
  6. They are infantry weapons, but not firearms. I don't recall the 2nd amendment saying anything about the right to bear explosives. Hand grenades are outside the scope of this discussion.
  7. I am too. There are many stores in surrounding towns that I was fond of that closed. It's unfortunate, but I don't blame Wal-mart for it.
  8. Don't blame the store, blame the people. Possibly. It's ignorant to just assume that he didn't. I've known people that have worked in retail for longer than that at the same place, it's not too uncommon. Lots of people have sad stories. Why is walmart evil because of it?
  9. Yep. IIRC, I think it is about $125 here. The insurance discount is nice too.
  10. It's called capitalism. Local stores probably can't beat them with prices, so they have to make up for that by providing better service than the competition (Wal-Mart/etc... which isn't hard to do). Most just don't.
  11. I think it's a great idea. But I bet there are some here that wouldn't and feel passionate about it. Agreed. There would always be the people against it whining - "But what if they were little felonies"?
  12. Nearly everything at retail stores is made in China/somewhere else in Asia/etc... Wal-Mart, because they are the biggest retailer, is getting bitched at because of it.
  13. I saw a Kia Rio with one a few weeks ago (with the fart-can exhaust too). It pulled up next to me while I was driving my brother's 425HP Ford Lighting and started revving the engine. It was a good laugh.
  14. That is correct. The woman campaigning against concealed carry, who hails from a town trying to ban handguns, hasa concealed carry permit for herself. What, have you forgotten that laws are only for us little people, and our great masters are not to be trifled with? Yep. The "Do as I say, not as I do" thing that is so common in the political world.
  15. True, but in the hands of a "sniper", both would likely be equally lethal. That sounds like a more reasonable (but equally crazy) excuse. If a terrorist or criminal wants a .50 to take out a vehicle, they're going to get one, laws aren't going to stop them.
  16. Remeber the sniper a year or two a go that was shooting people from a car in the easern US? IIRC, he was using a .223 caliber rifle, which would not be affected if those laws were passed. If they are trying to pass laws to stop "snipers", they should at least make their reasoning believeable. What makes a .50 any more deadly than a .45 or .308? These people are just damn nuts.
  17. Geez, you act like they actually drop test them or something...
  18. Robin, That helmet you have on in that pic is just about the coolest thing I've ever seen.
  19. Not just not recommended here, but by the manufacturer as well. From a noob perspective, I fail to see your point. Could you please clarify what it is your trying to say?
  20. No Income tax here in TX, but they pretty much tax the hell out of everything else.
  21. But if we keep sending it out, that leaves less for us Hell, I never thought of that...
  22. Do they have it in Cali?? I dunno...never been there. If not, they should, it's good stuff.
  23. I'll be there, assuming I can drag my lazy ass out the to DZ to get my A sometime in the next few weeks.
