    I think that the cypress would fire "IF" it was turned on. Someone without training is'nt going to turn on a cypress. As far as landing ,if they were lucky enough to get a deployment, I doubt they would even unstoe the brakes because of the fear of doing something wrong and causing a cutaway or something. This is one of those threads that should make us all realize how important training and safety are. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

    I was with her and I wish I had came over and said hello. I was there from the first Saturday night until the last day and stayed right across from the dz.com tent in the Tri-State Skydivers tent and never once came over to say hi.     1st bi-plane jump 1st helicopter jump (did 3) 100th jump pieing 1st PAC 750 jump (did 15 or more) 1st skyvan jump (2) met skydiverbc in person after a 9 month internet and phone relationship and went up with her on her naked tandem My Rodrigeuz Brother's initiation (Grease Monkey Rodrigeuz) 1st 6 way that I acually got thru all the pionts truck driver 8 way ( that was the FUNnelest jump I have been on.) and last but not least all the people I met Was my first WFFC and what a skydiver's paradise it was. I love you all! What's the worst that can happen?

    I jumped the PAC 15 times at Rantoul. When I first jumped it the spot was way off, it was cramped, and the floor was slick. After a few people gave them some feedback every single one of these problems was fixed. They got better at spotting, they put friction material on the floor and started taking fewer jumpers per load. I really enjoyed this jumpship. The pilot said they were getting 1500ft per minute fully loaded until about 8k and then it dropped back to 1000 ft per minute. Everything was great except for the low ceiling which they can't do much about. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

    I have to say that every part of Rantoul was awesome, but my most memorable moment was during an off field landing I got rushed by about 10 kids wanting my autograph. It just made me feel good to think some strange kids thought so highly of skydivers that they would want their signatures. Just kind of made me feel good and I thought I would post about it.

    My job sucks. I hate my boss more than I have ever hated anyone before. Not just because he is an ass, but he does some of the stupidest useless things I have ever seen. I work 12 days straight and 2 days off. Thats atleast 12 hour days as well. It pays the bills and gives me jump money, not to mention the 3.5 weeks vacation every year. The worst part is having to work all the holiday weekends and missing the boogies, can't use vacation days for weekends either. Yep work sucks.

    sounds like the wiring harness has shorted and /or burned the insulation off some of the wires. a new harness is the only way to fix it. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

    Well I have the money to go jump my ass off and the weather is just awesome but when your job requires you to work every other weekend it just sucks. We are short handed right now so that means I got to stay later and don't get to leave with enough time to make it to the dz before dark, and the 2 drop zones closest to me (100 miles each) only have cessna's so I can't get more than a few jumps the weekends I am off work. Time to go south I am thinking. __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

    I agree with Nightingal but myself I try to get in on the RW jumps and when I have to jump solo I play around with sitflying (still needs alot of work). My biggest goal after making my A license was 100 jumps and a B license. Just don't forget what skydiving is all about though. Fun, friends and the lust for life!     Accually flat packing seems to give me more consistent openings than I get when I use a packer and they PRO pack it for me. I always watch and ask them to roll the hell out of everything. The openings are almost always good and firm. Only a few have been good soft openings. Blues __________________________________________________ What's the worst that can happen?

    I have an older Sabre 190 and have put about 40 jumps on it since I bought it with only around 60 jumps on it. This canopy flies great and gives me good landings but the openings sometimes can seriously hurt. I slow down as much as I can before throwing the PC but nothing seems to help. Sometimes it opens great and sometimes it knocks a lung loose. . I already roll the crap out of the nose and stuff it inside the center cell and have tried various other ways of packing it and nothing seems to give me consistant openings that are nice and soft. It's getting so bad that when it comes time to open I get scared. The only way I know how to pack is flat packing. I have had a couple PRO packing classes but still can't PRO pack yet. When I have used a packer and they PRO pack it it seems to always be a hard opening. But the one I had this past weekend had me seeing stars for about a minute. I honestly thought it exploded. Blues
