  1. You might like a book titled "The Paradox of God and the Science of Omniscience" by Clifford Pickover, lots of thought experiments like that in it.
  2. I was in Bradford Pa recently having dinner at a resturant in their airport. That would be a great spot for a dropzone (IMHO, of course), very nice airport, not a whole lot of air traffic, oh well, if I ever win the Powerball, I'll have to look into it.
  3. I know that beer is a subject near and dear to many skydivers hearts, so, Has anyone tried Arrogant Bastard Ale? I'm writing this and sipping on my first glass of this wonderful concoction. I actually found a store near Pittsburgh that sells beers other than the vast majority of the canoe rides (aka, near water) out there. I originally wanted to look for a few bottles of Westvleteren 12 for my jumpmasters without any luck, so being the very nice guy that I am, I'm determined to drink my way through as many of the 800+ varities they have until I find a suitable replacement. I'm pretty selfless, eh? The beers are expensive, but since the current weather here is pretty much wintery and awful, I have to do something to keep myself busy. First on the roster, Arrogant Bastard Ale, 22 ounces of 7.2% Alcohol by volume goodness. This is a project I gladly pursue.
  4. Rush is still one of the best bands ever. I'd hardly call this guy a has-been.
  5. Awesome work! Next year, it'll be six
  6. 36 hours is great! Keep it up, even if you only say "one more hour", then, when that hour is up, one more hour, whatever it takes to stay away from those death sticks. Don't let an inanimate object get the best of you. Good job.
  7. 1: Finish AFF 2: Look for some decent used gear 3: Jump my ass off in said gear 4: Hopefully buy a bunch of beers for any first time things.
  8. I'll make sure to do that, but for the jumpmasters that have helped me, I'm getting a few bottles of Westvleteren 12, arguably the best beer in the world.
  9. No one unless a bottle of Sam Adams Old Fizziwig Ale counts
  10. Howdy all, AFF student from PA here, sitting at home on New Year's with only Sam Adams to keep me company , just thought I'd check this place out and introduce myself.
