  1. nanana... there is no statute of limitation on beer.... But anyways, you could come to England, the weather is always nice, especially on the weekends, and the food.. THE FOOD.... such a marvel.. so many reasons to come visit PS: I am NOT planning to retire here either.. lol... and there is just a finite number of big boogies around... Remi Muff 914 PS: are you looking for a discount from lisa? lol
  2. Com-on.. everybody knows Tinky Winky is purple, not green!!!! Naa.... thats just what I wear when Karen and I go to a Fetish Party.. takes all kinds, right? Actually... Its a mascot type outfit for my old university .. It was made for the 1st time our school participated in the Great Concrete Tobogan Race (It was the 1st time a school from Quebec entered, so the mascot was an easy choice: a Frog! lol).. PS: the team from our school won.... POLY RULES !! I wore it on a couple of Engineering Students get-togethers..... Remi Muff 914
  3. ????? sorry, I dont speak Snowflakanese ?????? there must be a joke in there somewhere... but I must just be too stupid to understand it! lol Remi Muff 914

  6. Just my 2 pennies, dont have any tats, but a friend in Ontario has a couple of cools ones he's got a (either accordeon or star) wraped up around one ankle, and a 10ish way star on some flat surface (cant remember where now) Remi Muff 914
  7. Pyke: youre kinda right, Jess shouldnt have to have it re-tighened so often (he Reflex pop top that is ), but shelling our $1K for a ner conainer isnt the answer.... there might be something wrong in the way its packed/closed... Jess: Does you rigger have much experience with these rigs? Remi Muff 914
  8. I'm no rigger, but after doing it with a rigger and by myself a couple of time, I'm pretty confident you can do it by yourself too.... (just in case ask your rigger to show you how so that you can do it yourself too.. and if your rigger doenst know how to do it properly, ask another...). You should be able to do it without even removing the cover of the pop top (the closing loop end should be coming though a hole on the side of the cover and then be tucked back under the pop top), then all you need to do is pull on that sucker..... It should tighen on itself (but wear some gloves as the line may dig in). One might consider checking the pin does not get bent and the that the pull force required to move the pin is OK just in case you get a fit of Hecules like strength... Remi Muff 914

  10. 20 !! wow... student rigs, or also stuff lying around / stored? .... either way, not cool... At lapalisse last month, Karen and I were just thinking that there's so much stuff that just lies around ready for easy picking.. not just skydiving related stuff either: on our packing mat, there were 5 helmets with various PCx Sony's unattended, and even wuffo's know how much these are worth... 11. Wingy: You really seem to be a nice guy and all, but F**K YOU !!!!!! Seriously, what an opportunity! But no matter how tempting it is, I dont think the AF would like a non-required ejection.. lol Remi Muff 914

OMG Pammi!! I really didnt expect any girl here to be that desperate for bums to PAY for it!!!! But a deal is a deal (easiest 20$ I've made).... (i'm not telling who me is either ) Remi Muff 914
  13. Not to remove any of the wholesome reasons behind that jump, but.... NOW WE HAVE THE REAL REASONS FOR THIS LOAD!!!!! lol Have fun guys and gals.... Remi Muff 914
  14. Hi Lisa, My point was that someone whould not alter their pull routine because they have a cypres or not. I dont know of the perticular person you refer to. No one should not be pulling at an altitude that comes into cypres territory, wether they have one or not. That being said, our sport is full of variables: a longer track might be the lesser of 2 evils when in traffic. Remi Muff 914
  15. Blade running is one of the "high speed landings types" of competitions. Think of slalom between airblades, sometimes on a ski slope. As far as which of these events would spectators like more: probably blade running or swoop competitions. But I dont think any skydiving will make it back to the x-games.... Allthough they like to think of themselves as "extreme", they probably realized that even with a Cypres and 2 dytters, skydiving kills. The x games being a corporate commercial venture, I dont think they wanted to play that wait till some one drops game any longer. There are so many high profile names of really experienced, really respected people that have died.... The death at the Ranch this week of an experienced swooper doing nothing "wrong" (from what I've read in the repports) shows that any event probably has too much risk for them... Extreme Games my ass.... As far as the olympics: do we really want to fight for a place against bridge????? Remi Muff 914
  16. Correction on the What Happened part: The closing loop did not break, but the force on it pulled appart the finger trap... just talked with my rigger who confirmed. Remi Muff 914
  17. First: Good news on the Doc's evaluation Dove... Now, I have to strongly dissagree with you on that Mike... Unless someone has the nasty habit of pulling at 1K, you really shouldnt change your pull altitude... but then again, if you have the habit of pulling at 1K, you should change that, period. Remi Muff 914
  18. I was there and the bugger never told me it was his 200th!!!!!!! A BJ by the same Prince Andrew... LMAO.. sorry, royalty humor..... Remi Muff 914
  19. Clay, you probably were trying to feel her up! Remi Muff 914
  20. its so easy to loose the importance of that... very often, pretty much on every load, there are people hitting the sides of the door, its top, whatever... just another thing to keep in mind! Remi Muff 914
  21. Hey Jeff, re the 3rd one so he did pull the ripcord, but at the same time or just after the AAD fired? and he still managed to cut away the main?.. please post more details if you have them as this incident has me scratching my head... Remi Muff 914
