The point is, a lot of people in the US, much less in the world, don't have a DZ within 300 miles of them. Of course, I'm not bitching. I've got several DZs nearby (most with turbines), and my state is 30th on that list.

Most places are not as densely populated with DZs as California. If fact, pretty much no place is. Check the Dropzone Database (and that's just for the US).
