    Look! It happened to Lindercles, too!! I'm aware of it, but I hate the small line. I'm still holding on to my full screen line for the time being. I'm sure eventually I'll be flogged into submission, but not yet damnit! BTW, there's about three other threads already made about it.

    Skysurfing was part of the X games years ago but they dropped it. Do a search and you'll find several threads about it. I think a lot of it has to do with accessibility. The X games, and even the Olympics to a certain extent, cater to young people who can watch them and then get excited and run outside and try what they just saw on tv. With skydiving, you can't do that, so there's not as much interest. Couple that with the fact that your average whuffo watching skydiving on TV has no idea if what they just saw was good or not and that pretty much killed it.

    Just to flesh that out a little more, in case you're not familiar with gear, a tandem harness is designed differently than a harness designed for just one occupant. So how you feel in it will differ from how you feel under your own canopy, and may not have anything to do with tightness.

    I was actually kidding, but for a dork with a Classics degree like me, a few columns and scanty fragments are a wealth of really cool information. The fact that you can skydive that close to it is freaking awesome!
