How many people actually TALK with their doctor? You talk to the staff person in his/her office. And believe me that advice is only as good as the person who answers the phone. Human error is just as great with those who triage those phones as anywhere else on earth. AND DOCTORS, or whoever you talk with, are not 100% right all the time...especially over the phone. Bottom line..you aren't comfortable with what is happening with YOUR body then seek medical attention until someone answers questions. IT IS YOUR BODY~~~ IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!

As an Okie with some knowledge of this particular subject then I think we need to ask those others what you were doing at the PROM .... just what you were doing that you can't remember! It's a terrible shame to waste a perfectly good PROM night~~~ Maybe this belongs in a whole new poll....... IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!

Let's just say I've done extensive research in this area and there isn't any close comparison. Okie girls are da bomb!!!! And is there any relationship between this personal extensive research and the PROM? I do believe there is more to this story than you are telling. No way this side of reasonable and logical can they assume you still have the rig or that they have a right to ask for it back. It's obviously YOUR rig or they would not be asking for it back. Amazon...best pic yet! I am also just getting the hang of packing. And it does get better with time. My first few ones took me the length of time of guys who could pack and make 2 jumps before I was finished.. and then I was too tired to jump. But now I have a container that fits me and that closes so well... And every pack job I am learning and getting more familiar with where everything should go on the first go around. Keep packing..no matter the looks you get... IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!

Here's my thought... If you knew you were going to die driving your car -- would you still drive? If you knew the subway would crash and kill more than you, but lots of people -- would you walk instead? If you walk and get hit by a drive-by --- do you still walk?? Life is what we make it. Perhaps it isn't what we do but how we do it that makes all the difference. Judy edited for spelling IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!

I have to jump in here too. (no pun intended) I had a compression fracture of my sacrum (tailbone) and pelvic fracture on my 10th jump. I was off work for 12 weeks. I made 11th jump 16 weeks later. I'm not afraid but I know I am overthinking this alot. I am like you, in that I don't care to downsize quickly. I would be so happy to stand up my landings and look like something more than a carnival act when I land. One of my best landings...came with the advice that you don't stop flying the canopy..I was only half flaring and once I did just half flare -- I just rode on whatever I had going. I have learned so much about those last 10 feet. I also yell some ( YIPPEE!!) or sing or whatever so that I don't get all tense on those last few feet coming in. And I do much better now~ It's good to know that I'm not alone~~ Judy IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!

One nice thing about the rain...you get to read more than I normally would. And then the downside is you read about something so terribly wrong in the universe. Sorry to hear that anyone's life can be manipulated with a few words. PK has made 13,301 posts since 2001. And "just now" someone decides to cross reference his professional life with his internet world. Timing sucks! We don't have "all" the facts...by any means. What DZ'ers do have is this feeling of being invaded for who we are when we talk here. One thing about people who aren't honest and upfront.... time tells all. Some call it Karma, others call it just desserts. But in my experience what comes around goes around. I see people who suffer horribly. Today I realize perhaps there are reasons for it. Reasons I don't have at the time. I appreciate the FYI from PK.

NO, ours was only a 4-way tube exit on 01-01-05. But don't let that stop you..let's see the video! P.S. how in the world do you do a 9-way? IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!

I was heading to bed and couldn't resist stopping by!! This was a most memorable Boogie for many reasons...let me list a few. First Boogie First Jump after getting my "A" First jump with a suit made for me with booties. First time to get video of me in the air...thanks to RobertRei~~ First 3-way (and it worked!!!) Thanks to Spanky and Chris. First exit from a DC3...got to do that twice~ First 6- way... didn't work all that well but how great is it to be included??? First Pink Mafia Jump and joined the sisterhood (Thanks Amazon!!) First Tube Exit....now that really rocks~ First Balloon Jump which was worth the $$ and amazing~~~ First to demo new container and canopy now for only having 36 jumps...I am still smiling and wondering how I can get to the SKYSISTERS UNITED FEMALE SKYDIVING CONVENTION. Life is good isn't it??? My new quote for this year is::: NEVER LET THE FEAR OF STRIKING OUT KEEP YOU FROM PLAYING THE GAME~~
