No one could ever "talk" me into anything i didn't want or believe in. I am most assuredly one of those self thinking females... I really had no doubts then or now about being in the air. I have 90 minutes tunnel time after AFF1 so that I could do all this "right." Maybe it's just a destiny kind of thing. I feel this is so right - so perfect. IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!

Only been drunk twice in my life...both times were miserable and that rotten feeling wasn't all that appealing to me. Guess I like to stay in some control more than that. Lived in CA for a short time and played with a couple of illegal substances but liked spending my money on other things~~~ IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!

For me, it started as a blind internet date...well sort of. I took the AFF1 course (a bit discounted, of course) and fell in love with it all. And am great friends with the guy who got me to try it all. I never thought twice about the safety or risks. He asked if I wanted to try and without hesitation I said YES! SO guess I fit into the "always been a risk taker" category.

Two facts: 1) I am a 'closet' jumper....my family disapproves to the extreme of my skydiving. What they don't know is I am ME for the first time ever in my life!!! 2) I have celilac disease.. can't eat wheat, oats, barley or rye (gluten). P.S. this is a really cool thread!

I have never really had much of a party life...and now that kids are almost grown... I would have one HUGE GIGANTIC party And then I would play all over the world at every DZ I could...discoverying the world and the people. IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!

Mine is sailing with the an ice cold Captain/Diet Coke and reading how controversial some people are on the forums.... Breaks up the tension of the day and gives me a whole new twist on my world....

Heck I work in a Level 1 Trauma ICU. We see it all...all the really dumb stuff people do with their lives. I get some grief from the trauma standpoint but one you don't have to answer any of his questions about what you do on your own time. And two, don't let some whuffo control your emotions. Well, count me in! As well as both my children. However, I do believe there is a time and place for all activities. If one can't learn control then medicine can help. the problem is very few take the time to make sure one has the the PROPER dose. And what happens leads to kids who are overdosed or underdosed. My daughter needs medicine and my son doesn't. I don't take any at all. I make all A's without trying and I think as good as most. What makes me ADHD by the world's standard is that I won't be QUIET and STILL just because society dictates me too. And it is the same for my kids. They learn differently. They aren't wrong and they are as smart as any. I fight the school system almost constantly because they say my children are less because of who they are. I am winning the battle for now because I am ADHD and refuse to give in! Just because you are labeled ADHD doesn't change who you are....it just helps in how you learn and react to your world. Do you think Columbus, Joan of Ark, Napolean, Ben Franklin,etc. were ADHD? The greatest minds of our time would also follow the pattern of ADD/ADHD. I am with these folks...let the world try to stay up with me!

And where would these "retrosexual" men be? Like Heath, Jared and Nick Barclay from Death Valley? Or the men from the Ponderosa? As a female I wouldn't mind seeing more retrosexual men on the planet earth.

I realize I am fairly new to this world but I believe this maybe one of those rare POSTS from JOHNRICH in which I haven't heard/seen the word 'gun' or 'ammo' used. Or is it I am just confused???? IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!

As a child I dreamed of flying. Not with parachutes or any gear...just flying above our house or above the playground at school. Turning and going up and down was as easy as a bird. My 'fear' was never ever of flying. Oh no, it was that I would go too high and never come down. I would be very careful in my dreams to stay at a certain level (altitude) so that I couldn't go to high. I am sure there are other analysis to these dreams but that can wait! Well, being new to skydiving and living in OK where gusts of winds were topping around 50mph Sunday, I made my first off landing on AFF3. Let's see it wasn't far from the dz and my J/M stayed on the radio and warned me about objects below. I avoided all the hay bales and one tree and the barb wire fence. I flared a bit too soon and "thud" I landed in the moist pasture. I no longer have a fear of going to high and not being able to come down.... IF you are going to be Stupid - you better be tough!
