How???? easy mental illness.... any OTHER explanation???????.... edited to add... previous statement is a little harsh. such illness is NOt the only factor.. Many people MANY, operate on a daily basis, while in the grip of such an illness... and can manage ok for the most part. poor diagnosis or improper use of medication... THAT can lead to "Unexplainable" behavior like this... "instability" is as bad in the real world... as it is in freefall... that guys response to and explanations surrounding the Womans disappearance have been screwy since the start.. i fell sooo bad for the innocent little boys... and the parents of Susan... sad deal... all around jmy

a MONTH???!!!!! that's fantastic... if you have wheels, travel around a little..... you can get from one place to the other within a couple to 3 hours drive.. PLUS then you'll see MORE of the state.... so what??/ if things are slow during a weekday.. I would bet that you can STILL get a jump or two anywhere you visit... meet more people,,,, and Skydive with them !!!.. enjoy. jmyt

if it's going to move in that direction it could be best to make it THREE hundred jumps... no kidding no denying that our sport is a Visual Paradise !! and that is part of what draws us to it... It is very easy to get caught up in todays world of technology and a now now now approach to just about anything... The value and importance of a certain amount of delayed gratification has become a lost concept.. How about "amount of time" in the sport?? Does That factor in?? It takes a lot longer to develop aerial AND canopy skills, than folks like to admit..to get to that elusive "2nd Nature" that everyone talks about...in order to "add a camera(s) to the mix " and that's a fact... For the rare few,, 200 jumps might do it but for most it takes alot longer. I hit it, by about 1,000 jumps and added video around 1,700 hahaha.. Some had fewer jumps. some many more.. i like 300......

ahhhh.. OK thanks...i'm gonna check out his "landing", more critically next time... i only watched it once... The best part of watching the Super Bowl for me, has always been seeing the commercials and there have been some Great ones.. !!! Nows i guess in todays world of "Instant this and Instant that", where delayed gratification and all it's values are woefully ignored, it's no surprise that the ads will come out early.. I'm not gonna watch anymore of them... until the Game enjoy SuperBowl sunday!!!

"damn i wanted to see the machine climb the Church" me too Krip... i did like how they used OTHER pieces of BIG equipment to weight down the pads of the tower... they must make some chunk of change on those machines, to be able to spend the time and expense of engineering and then BUILDIng that tower set up....Very effective ad. as for those SWAmp Boys.. Yes... Bobbys' Crew!!! in the carolina swamps.... Notice the most wisened operator is "Simitrio" and he CAN do quite a bit with that machine. I really like the grappler which grabs a tree... cuts it, rotates it, runs it through the machine head, stripping EVERY branch off it,, ANd can cut the main trunk into easy to handle lengths..... in less time than it just took ME.. to type this all out.......

one of my brothers had a GREAT idea , many years ago, for carrying out sentences which are issued through our existing court system.... No prisons. No whippings,,,, Simply have all the great scientific and technical minds work together to build "an Aging Machine" the perp steps into it. the door is closed. a few buttons are pushed and the Body AGES..... whatever number of years the sentence dictates... ...if a 25 year old is given a 30 year sentence....BANG he or she comes out at age 55... wanna be a repeat offender??? ok. you'll be an Old aged person.. real quick....and then you Die..... and w'ere done with you... No prison costs, no "warehousing " of folks,, who accomplish little "inside" , other than working out,,,sitting around in a cell all day long and making street connections, for when they are "released" If you are given TIME... then you lose those years off your life..... sorry....... No punishing,, NO rehab no coddling and handholding... Televise the Aging sessions, so people can SEE first hand what it's all about..... I bet the levels of crime would go Down.... Plus,,,, it could really reduce the recidivism rates.... NO i'm NOT kidding... jt

we all once went to Goderich Canada, ( maybe in the late 70s ) on the east shore of Lake Huron for a DC3 boogie that advertised " 5 dollar skydives "!!! seems to me though, that the price was MORE... once we had arrived... we were also blessed in the late 80's and early 90s to have a local DZO/Pilot/Jumper host an annual DC-3 Boogie at a county airport which was not a normal DZ, but was close and convenient for EVERYbody who wanted to "come out and play"......We had Mr. Douglas once or twice and then The Bird Machine for a few years, and Then Fred Jernigans' "Lucaya Air" for the last 5 or 6 boogies.....(my favorite) That boogie later became an annual CASA boogie... which wasn't a bad thing.. but not quite so nostalgic.... The batavia boogie as it was known,,,,JUSt the MOST fun, ever. the county airport had the runway length we needed, and we had the enthusiastic and energized crowd to fill it.... The event(s) drew people from all Over , NY, NJ , Penn., OHIO and Canada!!! can't be certain now,,, just how much we paid for a skydive outta One.. but it seems to me that 16 bucks sounds right

Well we tuned in early enough to be "treated " to Mr. Tylers "performance"..before the the Ravens Patriots game at Foxboro Stadium... ouch.... i was cringing, for MOST of the song... must be, that No One ever considered AUDITIONING him..... ahead of time.. Must be that Rock Stars have a very high opinion of themselves... otherwise i would think that he'd be kind of embarrassed... In all these years hasn't ANYONE ever told the guy that he Can't sing??? and He is a Judge???? in an audition show which critiques singers???? why am i not surprised... Before posting this, i DID do a search and found a speakers corner thread from 2004. which discussed,, another poor performance of Tylers.. while singing our Nat,. Anthem...maybe someone more capable than me,,, can link that thread,,, or better yet link a video of yesterdays effort.... This one was tough to watch and Listen to..
