As of right now the Mrs. & I are planning to be there. We'll more than likely get there on Sat. We're both on vacation next week & it's our anniversary as well so we're looking for fun things to do. Went last year & had a blast!! Where's everyone staying?? It would be great to meet all you guys & have a few 's!! Don Don Here's to friends!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't I read on here a while back about some of the DZ.com hotties putting together a calendar?? What's the status?? I had to settle for a 2005 USPA calendar, bought it yesterday. Don Don Here's to friends!

Maybe you all have heard this one. Someone once told me you should put a penny in a jar every time you have sex before you get married & see how long it takes to fill the jar. I'm just a newbie to jumping but have jumped @ both Orange & Hartwood, both are great places. I started AFF @ Orange but switched to Hartwood a few weeks ago (it's closer to my house) & LOVE the place!!! Like Dan the pilot said, if you want friendly & close Hartwood is the place. GREAT bunch of people there!!! And Dan is DA MAN when it comes to flyin' that Otter!!!! (Thanks for the cool ride Sun. Dan, now that was fun!!! ) Blue skies & welcome to the area!!

Hey Shelly, welcome!! If you spend some time here you'll find most everyone had to repeat a level or two (or more) to get where they are today. More importantly you'll find great people & information here, I know I have!! As long as you keep that good attitude & don't look at it as a failure but as a learning experience you'll do fine. And listen to your instructors. I totally screwed up my level 3 jump & then landed out in a briar patch this past weekend!! But....I learned alot that day!! Good luck & blue skies!! 1:1:1 Totally botched my jump, gonna have to repeat. Landed out as well & got a few nasty briar scratches on my ankles from the "out" I chose. Learned alot & still had a blast so its all good!! As long as you learn, stay safe & have fun, right???
