YES!! Just about anything Sade does, her "greatest hits" cd is awesome!! My favorite song is "No Ordinary Love". It lasts about 7 minutes or so & DAMN is it sexy!! Every time I listen to it I get this little vision/fantasy going in my head Don Don Here's to friends!

As far as what I may have done to cause the problem, the only thing I can think of was I did a "disc defragmentation" recently, but didn't notice anything weird until a few days later when I tried to print something & later tried to install the software for a cable modem for high speed internet. Nothing worked. Before I try any of this though I think I'm gonna call my 20 year old nephew who's a computer whiz to supervise. He owes me big time, I'm the one HE always calls when he has a problem with his car. I'm sure he can help figure THIS out, but let the "check engine" light come on or the car not start & he's calling Uncle Don!! Thanks everyone, I'll let you know how it turns out!! How ya doin'? Hope everyone is doin' well, it's been a while since I've been able to check in. I'm not very good @ these things, so any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Ok...when I turn on my computer & log on, I first get a message which says something like "Messenger has encountered a problem, anything you were in the middle of doing might be lost, blah blah blah, click here to send error report to Microsoft, click here to view error report information, etc." The error code is 39. I use Windows XP. I clicked & sent the error report to Microsoft , & a few minutes later a message came back saying something like "Thanks for sending the report, but we are unable to correct the problem, you can download an updated version of Messenger which is more reliable, blah blah blah. Also, both my cd/dvd drives, printer, & Windows Media player don't work. It's like they all just disappeared. When I pull them up under system info it shows them, but beside them they have exclamation marks inside yellow triangles. I went through the troubleshooter & tried everything I could find, one said to uninstall & reinstall the drives for them which I tried but it didn't work. Any ideas to point me in the right direction?? As I said I'm not a computer person & you may need more info than what I've given. Perhaps I'm missing something simple. Damn that's funny....good stuff!! I can SOOOO relate to #4, sometimes I'd rather take a red hot poker in the eye than go shopping for ANYTHING with my wife. After 12 years of marriage, I FINALLY have some hard scientific evidence to back up what I've been saying all these years!! But I still won't win the argument. It's a vicious circle!! Thanks!! I agree with piisfish, give Skydive Miami a call. They're just a little ways off Rt. 1 in Homestead. (www.skydivemiami.com) I just got back from a vacation in the Keys & just so happens I jumped there yesterday, it was AWESOME!! Great group of people, good facility & equipment. Check out their website. I believe they have some specials going on now & reduced prices if you pay cash as well. That's my recommendation. Also....If she's crazy about the Keys, there's also Skydive Key West. I don't know much about them other than to say they're just north of Key West. Their website isn't much help, but it does list their phone#. If I would have had more time I would have checked them out as well. Good luck & let us know how it goes!! You're gonna love it!! Hey everybody!! How's it going? I thought it was time I finally quit lurking & do a meet & greet to introduce myself, since it looks like my "# of jumps" is FINALLY gonna be more than 1 in a couple of days. WOO-HOO!! I'll start off by saying I've found this site to be not only educational & informative (first & foremost) but DAMN ENTERTAINING as well!! In the short time I've been here I feel like I've known many of you for years!! The first thing I do now when I log on is to see who else is online. I think that's one of the many things I find so awesome about all of this...friendly, supportive, approachable people. But I must say...A FEW OF YOU SCARE ME!! Let's see..I'm 40, basically been blue-collar all my life, married for a little over 12 years now to Nora, (we're D.I.N.K's, BTW), & the MOST of the rest you can get by clicking on my name. I did a tandem ("roller coaster ride" whuffo) @ Skydive Orange in the late fall of '02, got hooked immediatley & had HOPED to start AFF this past spring, but some family stuff put it on hold (which actually wasn't a bad thing) because in the meantime I've tried to educate myself as much as possible thru every book I could get my hands on, reading the SIM from cover to cover, ordering videos, talking to people, and of course you guys!! Also along the way I've gone to Skyventure in Orlando while on vacation this past July which was AWESOME, dragged the wife to Bridge Day down in WV, saw "Adrenaline Rush" in IMAX, constantly look up in the sky & sometimes stick my head & arms out my car window while driving just to feel the wind!! (C'mon, I know you've all done it!!) What's missing??? JUMPING FROM A FRIKKIN' PLANE!! Lo & behold, we leave this Fri. for a little vacation down in the Keys, so I told Nora "I don't care WHAT we do as long as I get to jump!!" So...as soon as we land in Ft. Lauderdale on Fri., we pick up the rental car & haul ass first thing to Skydive Miami!! I CAN'T WAIT!! Things are looking a little better now, so with a little luck this will be the year!! My goals are simple...be safe, constantly learn, & have fun!! Well, that's about it for now. Thanks for takin' the time to read this, & I hope to one day meet everybody!!
