Thanks for all the input guys!! Damn that's funny!! Once I realized what I was looking at I started laughing like crazy & couldn't stop, everyone was giving me strange looks. Ok, someone please enlighten me. I just got back from the grocery store, bought some chicken to fix for dinner. There in between all the breasts, legs, wings & stuff were FRIGGIN' FEET!!! They were cut off right about where the ankle(?) would be. Claws & all. They were simply labeled as "MEAT". WTF? How do you eat the FEET?? How do you fix them? What is a good side dish? Anyone ever had them??? Like I said, someone please enlighten me. Thanks, Don Don Here's to friends!

Playing catch up around the house today, weather permitting I will get to jump tomorrow. Woo-Hoo!! Went last Sun. but the weather sucked all day so it was spent in the hangar doing "book stuff" & in the harness. Had a blast & learned a lot but still would have been great to get in the air!! Wish me luck for tomorrow!!

The trains run until midnight except for Fri. & Sat., they run until 3am. Plenty of time!!! I know they also run a shuttle bus from a couple of the stations back & forth to Georgetown but I can't remember which ones right off hand. Like I said check out our website www.wmata.com & click on the green headings under the panda for anything you would ever want to know!!

It sounds like you have all the major attractions covered!! Definitely check out the night life while you're in town as well. One question....how are you getting around?? Since I work for Metro, I'm gonna shamelessly plug them. If you're gonna go all over the area each day I suggest you buy an all day pass, it only costs 5 or 6 bucks & is good all day for unlimited travel. Also when you get to a station, go to the kiosk & pick up a pocket guide from the station manager. It lists all the major points of interest & which color line (red, blue, yellow, etc.) to take to get there. Just don't eat or drink on the train or in the station...our transit police dept. really frowns on it. There was a story in today's Post about them handcuffing & taking a woman to jail for a few hours who didn't listen & got snippy with them. Check out www.wmata.com for more info. AAARRRGGGHH!!!! I watched this last night before going to bed, therefore all day today @ work I couldn't get that F*#@* song out of my head!!! In my mind I kept trying to change it to the original by Queen/David Bowie but to no avail. Thanks!! Overall I would say yes, I really like my job. I enjoy what I do, the pay & benefits are great, work from 6am-2:30pm M-F, weekends off & all major holidays off. Life is good!!!
