And I think that is the best illustration of your level of political understanding. I stand corrected. Every time I forget how shallow and credulous people can be, Windsor is there to remind me. Good ol’ reliable.
-
Sure, but you also have to consider that, oddly enough, your prospects under Harris would be significantly better and she’s not despicable. Do it’s a balancing act.
-
I now think the funniest bit is when they’re considering a delay to the operation but worry they’ll look like pussies if it leaks and Hegseth says “Don’t worry I’ll enforce 100% OPSEC” well y’know except for this one national magazine editor but I’m sure that doesn’t matter.

Most military / intelligence talking heads seem to be saying the contents could easily be unclassified now, after the strikes, but would 100% have been considered clearly and obviously secret before the strikes. Contrast with treatment of Clinton for emails that were not secret when she sent or received them but were retrospectively classified later on.

When Mike Walz needs a 'tech genius' to tell him why he decided to look up the wrong guy's name and add him to a secret military strike chat then you gotts wonder what's next. Breaking: Elon Musk called in by Pete Hegseth to find out how all those empty beer bottles ended up under his desk at 2PM on a Wednesday. Billionaire savant only man alive who can solve this mystery...

The incompetent and unrepentant Mike Walz is trying to blame the journalist for being added to the group, suggesting (without evidence) that the journalist may have changed his name on Signal to appear like he was someone else. Now, I’ve worked in high street retail before and the way data protection is now if a 16 year old minimum wage sales attendant gives out sensitive personal account information of John Smith to a person who simply walks up and says they are John Smith then that employee and that company can really be in quite deep shit - because it’s obviously an incredibly stupid thing to do. But hey, these are highly paid white male professionals. They can possibly be held to the same standard as teenage part timers and DEI looking folks.

Perfect encapsulation of the new Right. There is not a single governing principle they will not sell down the river in the blink of an eye in exchange for more power.
-
Yet more evidence that the unfettered free market is truly a shining path to our most glorious future. Obviously any employer willing to hire a 14 year old kid to work an overnight shift during the chill week can be trusted to have their best interests at heart.

Mike Johnson on whether the House would hold any inquiries: “I’m sure they’ll do better next time, what else is there to say?” Sure, what else. Certainly nothing that could be uncovered by a years long Congressional investigation and FBI involvement in the run up to the next election I’m sure. Honestly the sheer volume of partisan corruption and hypocrisy engaged in by the Republican Party really is starting to make it difficult to care, even when it’s this blatant. Funny that Trump said ‘you’re telling me this for the first time’ to a reporter who asked him about it just now. I guess that must mean none of the people involved who report directly to the Oval Office have enough basic respect for Trump to even let him know they fucked up on his watch. ‘Only the best’ people indeed. At least none of them were DEI, imagine what might have happened then.

Canadians don't need tourist visas. They quite literally are allowed to come to the US then do the paperwork.
-
Which is the proof that you were knowingly presenting a distortion of the truth earlier when you said if you overstay you have to leave. Again - having to leave is not the same as not being allowed to leave. You get that, don't you? Of course it isn't. Again - she was not in the US to work when she was arrested. She was in the US to get a work visa. Canadians are allowed to be in the US without a work visa, and you do not need to have a work visa in order to apply for a work visa. Canadians don't need a work visa to enter the US.
-
However it may seem to you, they're literally not so you legally can't. But I can see why just ignoring the details and simply pretending black is white instead is appealing to you, you've never been good with complex concepts.
-
And yet Elon, like Trump, believes the one single group of people on this earth who should be allowed to exploit it are white South Africans. Funny that.
-
You don't need to have a work visa to apply for a work visa, right?
-
That's where you're just not getting it, brother. People who want to leave are not being allowed to leave. Here's a woman who was imprisoned while at the airport looking for a flight home who wasn;t even in the US illegally, she'd just had a request for a work visa turned down. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/mar/19/canadian-detained-us-immigration-jasmine-mooney

Nah, I'm happy enough just demonstrating that you're talking bollocks. You link to pointless videos of other people doing your talking for you all the time, yet you won't do anything to show CBS saying what you claim they did. Why you won't is not the world's biggest mystery.
-
Elon Musk offers to pay $100 to Wisconsin voters who sign a petition against ‘activist judges’ Every single time the Republicans accuse the Dems of doing something dirty it's because they're actually doing it themselves. It's a principle that never ever fails.
-
So you have no idea what CBS said about German free speech, then?
-
Standing against someone who literally tried to overthrow your democracy and is now actively trying to break as many constitutional limits on executive power as possible doesn't need much looking. I guess the reason you don't see it is that you just need someone to serve.
-
Did you? What did it say, specifically?
-
That's a great point, just like intervening to stop a street mugging is the same thing as helping a mugger.

This is what I find surprising about the American right, that they are surprised by something that was spelled out in glowing neon letters during the campaign. Trump during the campaign: Says repeatedly he will do something outrageous when in power. Republicans: You libs should stop being so hyperbolic, you’re not supposed to take him literally! Trump in office: Does exact outrageous thing he said he would do. Republicans: If only someone could have warned us this was going to happen!
-
Which is why I’m pretty sure they didn’t say that. The Republicans did. And it’s obviously not true. JD Vance is a soulless hypocrite. The European country that has done far, far more than any other to crack down on free speech is Hungary. So does JD hold up Orban as a symbol of all that is wrong with European freedom of expression? No, he fucking loves him and wishes he could implement the same style of proto-dictatorship in the USA. Chauvin murdered Floyd. Thats a gimme, since you already know it’s true.
-
I wish it wasn’t true, but here we are. You’d rather be someone who helps the police murder a guy than be someone who helps expose a crime committed by the police. You’ve been explicitly clear about that. You said you’d help hold Floyd down so that ‘Chauvin could let go’. Two other cops were already helping hold him down and Chauvin didn’t let go, so that’s you lying, isn’t it? Chauvin didn’t let go when Floyd was unconscious, he didn’t let go when Floy was dead. Since you know this is true, the idea that he would have let go of you were there because he’d have recognised your uniquely awesome holdy downy power is a deliberate lie, isn’t it? Why have you chosen to lie about this when you know how awful it makes you look?
-
No, the Republicans would have you believe that, but it’s not true.
