Ex members of the intel community said the release had Russian fingerprints on it regardless of the veracity of the data. As for the media, that's what they do. It's literally their job. Fox news was sure as fuck actively playing up the 'this must somehow mean Joe Biden is corrupt' angle that the Russians wanted playing up, and CNN etc. went the other way. No surprise that you're only concerned with one of those things. Anyway I'm glad you're now saying that Hunter Biden's laptop is, in itself, an irrelevant sideshow that means nothing.

First of all, you’re conflating two different subjects here. The DOJ probe into his taxes and the contents of his laptop not the same. Second, it was (potentially) an attempt to influence the election in the same way the Clinton Benghazi probe was a very successful attempt to influence the election despite the fact that (again) there was no ‘there’ there. There are just people wilfully ignorant enough to be taken in by the Russia/Fox narrative. Surely you are perceptive enough to have noticed that Brent’s argument is that Hunter Biden owns a laptop therefore Joe Biden is corrupt? Therefore the question ‘So what?’ to Brent pointing out that Hunter Biden owns a laptop is an invitation for him to fill in some of the blank space in between. An invitation which he has not in anyway taken up, which tells me the question is still a very good one. Since those officials you’re mentioning are not participating in this conversation with Brent, I really don’t think there’s any meaning to be gleaned from the fact that they haven’t asked him a question. Honestly no idea why you think otherwise.

And yet you do not treat them the same.
-
When you’re a US Senator who’s already pulled the ‘don’t you know who I am’ card, it’s different.
-
He did however make thinly veiled threats towards the employment of the people involved. Demanding their names and threatening to call corporate. Daaamn.
-
It’s a bit late to start now when this entire thread is a demonstration of your double standards.

The DOJ is probing Hunter Biden. So what?
-
What money was being laundered through that account?
-
His cut of what, exactly?
-
Their investigation of his own personal taxes and his own personal registration? So what?
-
So what? Cool link by the way. Hunter wrote in a 2014 email that Burisma officials “need to know in no uncertain terms that we will not and cannot intervene directly with domestic policymakers, and that we need to abide by FARA and any other U.S. laws in the strictest sense across the board.”

Any time you’re ready to share any information about that, please don’t hold back.

It's crazy. The right is apoplectic that Hunter once went to China at the same time as Joe because of course it must be influence peddling. Meanwhile Trump not only regularly brought his businesspeople kids along on official business, he brought them into the fucking meetings. Ivanka was in the room where it happened, Jared (an inept real estate developer completely reliant on foreign investment) was in every room where everything happened. Trump literally turned the Executive branch into a family business in a way that was not just flagrantly unethical, it would have been categorically, savagely illegal for any other government offical except the President. But Hunter once reminded his contact at Burisma that Joe was his dad, so now the sky is falling. Because of course that's how they see it.

I find it particularly amusing that Brent can't figure out how in the world a middle aged Ivy League lawyer could possibly be a millionaire.
-
How does that answer the question, so what? There are 50 intelligence officials warning that the release of the information whether genuine or not has the fingerprints of Moscow all over it - yet the influence Brent is shocked and appalled by is from the NYT? Even setting aside the fact that, again, the information released was damaging to Hunter Biden, a man who has not been involved in any recent elections.
-
You don't seriously believe that's true. Come on, just engage in a conversation like a normal person for once. What legislators? What gifts? What are you talking about?
-
Again I ask, so what? What legislators? What gifts? What are you talking about?

$190M to create a car company from scratch is not very much money. Where did it go? Who's defending Hunter Biden? Hunter Biden is irrelevant - and don't think it's gone unnoticed that this Fisker sideshow is imply a distraction from the fact that you're unable to give us any reason why the laptop subject is anything but innuendo. You seem to have jumped directly from 'Hunter Biden's laptop is real' to 'therefore Joe Biden is corrupt' without actually doing any of the work inbetween. You can't simply assume the Biden family does in private what the Trump family does in public and expect to convince anyone.
-
You don't do it by having a bankrupt company owe you money either, so what exactly is your point here? By the way, multimillionaire? Says who? Your source says he needed a loan to pay his own taxes.
-
Does putting a deposit on an F150 make you a stakeholder in Ford? By the way, even given your version of events how exactly does this constitute pay to play in your mind? Hunter Biden gives them money and in return Joe Biden gives them more money? I don't think that's what the phrase means.
-
Once again, that is not true. Even Breitbart says so.
-
To be honest I haven't seen anyone who thinks Hunter`Biden has done the right thing, and certainly not for the right reasons. But Hunter Biden wasn't up for election and isn't part of the Administration.

The reports have been* that the new Russian secure phone system runs on 3G/4G, and it is the Russians' own attacks on Ukraine's infrastructure that have stopped it from working in the areas where Russia has been involved in fierce fighting. * They all seem to quote the claims of one Twitter account so I'm not going to say they're definitely true.

Great point. Good old laid back Italy, let's see what they were up to. "The lockdown measures implemented by Italy was considered the most radical measure implemented against the outbreak outside of the lockdown measures implemented in China.[17]" Well ok then.
