    Stop the Presses!!! Zach Stone gets to live!!!..... canopy showed up via UPS at my house a mere 3 minutes ago.. .. it would've been so much easier on me (and you all) if he'd just sent me an email in the last 2 weeks...thank you everyone for all your concern and awesomeness...figures the day I call him out, the thing shows up. Karma!!! :)

    Dave - luckily the skydiving community on FB has been awesome in response this morning and there is a wide net cast thru FL already ...within hours of my post. For a community pulling together, FB skydivers is the support network that really is pulling out the stops for me at the moment....

    yes, as of this weekend, the DZ has not seen him for weeks and the tel nos they have for him have been disconnected. It's not looking good... that's why I'm casting a wider net here on DZ.com

    ok, it's now been another week, another few emails and nothing... the DZ is Skydive SW Florida in Cape Coral...Anyone know this guy?? I am now seriously considering that my canopy has indeed been stolen. What now???

    Bwahhahahahah!!! ..is it really necessary for either myself or Mike to expend any more energy dismissing Dave C'mon now....really??? Seriously, I'm a mom of a 14 year old, a sales manager who flies 30K miles+, with a house and an absentee helicopter pilot husband.... and I made all 5 meets in 2008 and 2009 AND 2008 nationals...really....need I say more??? Commitment....it's more than just a post or five on dz.com...

    Thanks for the reply, I sent the canopy to Cape Coral, FL and I did send it to the guy's rigger first. I was hoping to keep them out of it but I guess I'd better give them a call and let them know what's going on...maybe they can assist further.

    hey Guys and Gals, Not here to slander or personally attack this guy but I need some help from this community if at all possible. I'm one of those skydivers that thinks when selling a canopy, the buyer should have the chance to jump and inspect the canopy and make a decision...looks like I might have gotten totally taken...after 5-6 weeks, buyer states he cannot afford it and so I say send it back... going on 3 weeks, I still don't have my canopy back nor is he answering my emails... so net net.. anyone who knows this guy, pls have him respond to me...anyone who might be in contact with the buyer to sell him something, be careful. Hopefull this is all a misunderstanding and/or this guy is just a flake but I am worried... and more so, disappointed that this small community has members that take advantage of the generosity of another. Bad mojo..

    For those of you wondering....one cessna practice load went up at 9 am and we've been on a weather hold since then. Weather doesn't look promising for the day and iffy for tomorrow so right now, if you're not here, you're not missing much... Lots of people asking where you are Adam!! You're missed...

    Days Inn averaged $75 per night for 3 nights (Th/Fr/Sat) all taxes included. $40/nite is just a little too scary sounding for even lil' ol' me... edited to add: Damn, GW, you look good in black :)

    GW - you might want to start a thread on who's coming only... ...taking menu orders from swoopers ?? What are you thinking?? They'll eat what you order!! Basta!!! Get the number of bodies coming, choose a variety of stuff and let the caterers take over. Don't overcomplicate it.. that's something only I am allowed to do.

For me, please add: 1) "I'm a girl and therefore can't understand the math involved...descent rate in feet/second relative to distance covered? What do you mean by that GW???" 2) that damn cheststrap was squishing my boobs and I got distracted by nipple pinch. 3) got mascara in my eye which made me tear up so I couldn't see the set up.
