    IMHO I say get it done and over with. What does the oral surgeon say? I'm assuming an OS is going to be doing this operation.

    What the reason that happens? Is it maybe because the ranchers drove away their main food source or took up too much graising ground of their natural prey. Does that give the ranchers the right to decimate an entire predatory stock and mess up the whole ecosystem. My family grew cattle in central america so some experience talking here and we had more problems to worry about than loosing a few head to local predators. I did not imply that. Just said these Canadian fisherman are bitching about the seals decimating the cod population and not enough fish to make decent living. Chances are overfishing are the culprits not the seals. Now they want to thin the heard because we overfished.

    Agreed. But if the main purpose of the hunt is to deplete the predator stock in order for humans to thrive on the prey for commercial purpose then thats BS. These fishermen knew what they are getting into, sorry but no sympathy for them. Look at Alaskan king crab fishermen, they make a shitload of cash, but chances are they will die while fishing.

    There's an equilibrium in nature. It would be interesting to see that maybe we, humans, altered this balance by killing off the natural predators of the white tail deer. In most cases when natures out of whack humans have played a roll.

    Agreed. Have you also seen the line to the womens bathroom at a club or bar. Keep it the way it is. I don't want to wait 30 min to take a pee.

    Same with me man. 27 and my friends 18yo brothers shaves more than I do. I can go 2 or 3 days w/o shaving and a wannabe go tee appears. On the down side my skins so freaking sensative, only thing I can wear w/o breaking out is cotton, mixes of it or linnen. No wool or sythentics. Crazy thing is my eldest brother, DAMN talk about hairy. The guy cannot go a day w/o shaving. Genetics huh.

    Nope doesnt. Much of what the church has done last few years makes very little sense to me. Just take a look at how they handled the child sex abuse issue. Some have said he might be a transitional Pope, that could be it, but seeing as how JPII appointed most of the College who knows.

    Agreed. Of the few candidates the one I liked was Cardinal Carlo Martini from Milan. Too bad he's a Jesuit and no way would they let one be Pope. Too free thinking and outspoken for some. IMHO Raztinger is a pretty bad choice to lead the church into the 21rst century.

    It's not his job to be a cop. If you see something suspicious are you going to go in like some hero ready to save the day. Only to find out a) it's not what you think it is or b) get in over your head and possibly endanger your life or someone elses. Call the cops, let them do their job. Ask any cop and I'll bet you 9.9 out of 10 if you see something supicious going on they would rather have a civilian call it in than go rushing in and take the law into your own hands.

    There is a huge difference between me detaining someone who has actually committed a crime against me or my property than thinking this person has "attacked" me and then detaining them. How did these six men assault this person? Did they rush him? Did they touch him or brandish any thing that might be a weapon. What made him think he was in grave danger.

    I agree with you Ron. What I dont understand is the following: So this guy who said he felt threatened enough to draw his gun decides to approach a vehicle with six men in it. Not knowing whether they might be armed. Hell ask a cop what he does when there are people in a vehicle and has his gun already drawn. He doesnt approach the car. Sounds like this guys trying to play hero here.

    Saddam was killing people en masse all throughout his 30 years in power. We were buds with him in the 1980s and knew about it. With Rwanda if Clinton had done anything most Americans would've wanted his head on a stick. Like the Rwandan leader at that time stated "We have nothing you want." I just believe that we with the rest of the world turn a blind eye when things like this go on. But once our or someone elses interest are involved its a whole different ball game.

    So a massacre justifies an invasion? Rwanda 1994 we with the rest of the world did jack to stop it. We just sat on the sideline discussing the sematics of what is genocide. What's worse with this example is that we were buds with Saddam when this was going on.

    You have to be kidding If you look at how the Japanese fought American troops while we were island hopping in the south pacific you would realize that the majority of the Japanese mainland population would've faught to the death if we invaded. Look at footage when the Emperor announces Japan's surrender. Ron had the estimates in the low to mid 100ks, others put them close to one million. IMO I think Ron's figures are a bit low. In the end the use of the Atomic Bomb did save hundreds of thousands of lives. I also think you cannot compare the dropping of the Atomic bombs in WWII to a pre-emptive strike today.

    I'm with you Ron. I dont think any nation is stupid enough to use nukes for offensive opperations. Even Tiny Kim. How about if a terrorist group got a hold of a nuke and used it. What would be the appropriate response. If AQ used one we couldn't nuke every country that has an AQ cell in it or links to them.

    Beautiful dog BTW. Perfect so cali beach dog too. I have an Akita and poor thing hates the summer months. Luckily she stays at my moms who has the AC blasting during the summer.

    You cant compare herion addicts to the use of this tea for a religious ceremony. Like Lawrockets posted stated the 10th circuit court ruled that no direct harm is being caused from the tea. In this instance the current admin should STFU and F-off. Hell alcohol is a bigger problem among the Native American population than this tea.

    I agree. The SI system is much more elegant and easier to use than the English system. Hell how many different types of area units are there in the English system. Example: "Area: square inch, square foot, square yard, acre, square mile, township, square fathom, square rod, square furlong, square league, square mile" "volume: gallon, liquid quart, dry quart, liquid pint, dry pint, fluid ounce, teaspoon, tablespoon, minim, fluid dram, gill, peck, bushel, cubic inch, cubic foot, cubic yard." Damn. Try to figure out how many gallons are in a liquid quart. The SI is so much easier. All you have to remember is the following: micro, milli, centi, deci, deca, hecto, kilo, mega. How hard can that be.

    Damn good point. Yes, I would have to agree violent religious extermism has some factors of mental illness to it. Then IMO religion becomes an excuse to act out, giving you a target to focus on. Damn now you got me thinking on Monday morning.

    I think that applies to any religion. IMHO any form of extremism and fanaticism is dangerous. Now throw in any religion into that mix and you get some pretty evil results. There are some pretty whicked christians out there who kill because they think they are doing gods work. Look at the ones who take out OBGYNs (I dont want to start debating abortion please), look at the Aryan Nation or other such nut jobs. Many of them preach Christian values and have no problems strapping a human being to a truck and drive around till all thats left is a pile of flesh.
