THANKS Paige!! I had so much fun with it!!! I also used, from my TFTC goodie bag, the glowing squishy ball, pink pull up cords to hold my sweatshirt down, pink bandana around my neck, pink pull up cords as a bow in the wig, plus the goggles you gave us, and the sunglasses! So thank you so much for all those goodies!! I'll keep working on pics, next will be just the general flying photos from throughout the day.. some awesome shots I just love with all the tunnelrats! It was a BLAST and I'm glad to know we'll see you next year! I didn't get shots of the two spidermen for some reason, but both Brett & John wore a spidy costume and flew on Sunday during the sunlight .. I'm sure someone has them so we'll see them sooner or later!

It was so great to meet all of you and I'm just glad you had a chance to stop by on such a fun day and see how we like to play!! You guys were looking so good in there we are all very excited to see you back! And thank you for the wonderful compliments about John, myself and especially our tunnelrat family

I have 600+ photos and I have sorted MOST of them from Saturday (haven't gotten to sunday's pics yet, we carried over a bit to the next day) The first photos are online here, these consist of mostly costumed visitors as well as the Costume CONTEST!! Rebecca is staying here at my house, along with a few other tunnel junkies from Florida & Nevada... We pick her up at the airport today at 4:20! I'm pretty sure she settled on being a Hippie Chick for her costume!! Too bad your not comin' Eule!!!

Hey there! Cooking at AAC? not gonna happen because the owner is a STRICT VEGAN, and I mean STRICT. I've spent most of the morning printing maps to nearby food/atms & gas stations for everyone... I LOVE THE THOUGHT though... seriously... I would love to have a big cook out or even have it catered, but he's really very particular about things like that.

mostly a bunch of freak flying! hanging out and visiting with friends, making new friends... it's a reunion of sorts as most of the TunnelRats will be there, some are flying in others driving in. Last time everyone was together was April I think, and there's about 15-20 of us which are going to be there. Costume contest starts around 7 pm or so.. we're waiting since several of the Flyaway Pigeon Forge staff want to come for it, but have to work. That should be pretty cool, all flying costumes, and the winner gets a free block of time and a bodyflight T-shirt... the best part of the contest is that it's strictly based on costume creativity so you don't have to be a hot shot flyer to win, but your costume must stay together! We've got trick or treat goodie bags for the contest participants.. nothin' too fancy.. no food allowed inside the building, so people will be leaving to go eat or bring back food, we'll have a few chairs outside on the front lawn for outdoor viewing and eating etc. All in all, we're a pretty low-key group and we really just love it that way! Relax and fly!

I'm sure someone will be glad to snap some photos for you during your flights... I probably won't get to because I have to sell tickets.. imagine that.. a ticket selling clown

Hiya RatBoy.. it'll be good to meet ya! I hear your group is coming dressed as a 4-way team just kiddin'... it'll be great to meet you all! I've settled on the Clown idea.. it's just TOO easy to do! I've got a bright orange sweatshirt, which I will wear over my suit which is purple & green (see avatar) with a big polka dot belt I think.. Got the wig.. gonna use these funky tubular framed goggles (I got during TFTC), red tennis shoes, a little face paint around the mouth... multicolor wig over or under the helmet, not sure which yet! White gloves... a noisemaker, whistle, silly string, water pistol and a smily face bubble necklace!!! I should make a good clown, I'm mostly silly anyway Thanks for all the good ideas...

Hey! Thanks a bunch for sharing! It's always good to know how everyone's experiences are when they visit! Great reviews and great points to bring up! Glad to hear not all tunnels have timers in the flight chamber... that always bothers me... feels like I'm in the final countdown and besides, personally, I don't care what time it is.. when they turn it off or kick me out.. then I guess I'm done! I guess I don't hold the monopoly anymore for living with an hour of two VWT's... so nice to see them spreading rapidly!

It's a great idea to have a dual 'chamber', unfortunately, you can't get a flyaway type air outta 4 or 5 fans below (although that could improve Flyaway

Tash... congratulations to you and well ALL of you that are shareholders in the Airkix tunnel! It's running, everyone's thrilled, that's just so fabulous! What a wonderful way to bring a wind tunnel to a community! Have a load of fun for us and hopefully we'll be able to come visit sometime soon!
