You know, this one always got me. Actually, he used them on people living in his country that were trying to overthrow him. Not justifying it, it was a horrible attack on a mostly civilian population, but they weren't "his people" His people were the ones that carried out the attacks.

The guy that gets shot is a dumbass. When people are pointing guns at you you do what they say. This is a rule to follow regardless of whether or not they have badges. The stupid SOB didn't need to be shot though. What I thought was interesting was the cop that fired first, shot quite a few rounds (I lost count) from VERY close range without hitting this guy. After he let loose, the other cop shot the guy once in the back. The guy that shot first should be fired for A) blowing the call on when to shoot B) not being able to shoot straight I know that training says go for the body shot but at 5 feet, how hard is it to kneecap a guy that isn't even running? I still wonder just what he needed from the Circle K so bad that he didn't have time to talk to the nice officers.

"the cows that produce the milk for the ice cream are cute" UNTRUE There are no cute cows. Cows are just big, dumb smelly, drooling milk/meat machines. But they do taste GOOD! As does blue bell ice cream. (Vanilla w/ rum and chocolate syrup.)

Once again Bill, I think you said it very well. What I can't understand is how many people there are that enjoy listening to these people. I just don't get how someone can fail to notice that this is the way they treat everything. 1 Take a fact (this step is optional) 2 Throw on opinion that distorts that fact to make someone look bad 3 Sensationalize it. 4 Rant 5 Refuse to listen to any alternative viewpoint. And there are LOTS of people out there that think these guys are smart. Pity they don't teach critical thought as a required course in school. Let's just call the companies that advertise on the stations that air this crap (even when it's not so close to home) and tell them we aren't buying and why.

This is a serious job posting. I found it on monster.com while looking for myself. I will be an unemployed safety consultant in about 3 weeks (end of a project) I wish I could help with qualifications but since this is such a narrow field I can only guess as to what they would be looking for. It wouldn't hurt to e-mail the contact and ask though. Prolly shouldn't mention that you wouldn't need to climb down tho... Edit to add: There seems have been a bit of interest on this, a quick search on monster gave a few others as well. use keywords tower or antenna. happy hunting

Since this thread started out as a GWB bash, I think it's in line to add that the "trucking industry" has found at least one more way to cut cost of transport under this admin. Allowing Mexican trucking firms to haul freight w/in the US, using their own fleets and drivers. Sorry Jim, I think it sucks too.
