Gary Peek has written an updated version of the article listed in the Boogie Safety section here: http://www.dropzone.com/safety/Boogie_Safety/index.shtml Here is the post where he lists the updated article http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=4623107#4623107 The old version is from 2003 Might be a good idea to replace it with the updated version. IanHarrop replied to skydiverek's topic in Safety and Training
good stuff here but nothing specific to gear that I saw http://www.uspa.org/USPAMembers/Safety/SafetyDay/tabid/79/Default.aspx I'd love a gear presentation too "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy -

started it and got to question 3 A. I often wish I could be a mountain climber B. I can’t understand people who risk their lives climbing mountains Sorry neither answer fits. I don't wish to be a mountain climber but I certainly understand people who risk their lives doing it. I'm done "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

Chapter 2 of the Automatic Ripcord... Very cool, gotta love the idea of pulling the pin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ij1xdtb6Dk&feature=c4-overview&list=UUgyYc4SJnr5EGZtk5izW3mw "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

Interesting teaser on the Parachute Labs FB page... According to their FB page "Coming soon, all Racers will come with our brand new Automatic Ripcord activation device." Eliminating the cutter is an interesting idea. There will be some questions which might include... - it looks like it includes a ripcord stop and those fell out of favour a long time ago - will it work with existing AADs. - will other rig makers will be willing to licence it. Bet there are lots more questions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4LgO6Irk5k "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
