  2. Have you tested it under load? If a line gets entangled and there's a load on the chin strap how easy is it to release? Might be a good thing to check. A long time a go I put together a similar thing and was surprised by the difference in its performance when I tested it under load. 5. So is it time to panic yet? Sorry not a mac guy.... "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
  6. Yup, sure is. Mark Bad planning by the jumper does not create an emergency for the rigger, so why should the rigger behave as if its an emergency? Even after you up the scenario I do not believe the rigger should do unauthorised work. We are all well connected these days, so if your rig is in at your rigger cause you need it badly and he calls you but you don't return his call... well its on the jumper. That said, I like the idea that a rigger should ba allowed to do $25 of work without having to call me. Good to have that kind of agreement in place. Oh you can trust 'em...to BE a lawyer! 99% of lawyers give the rest of them a bad name! "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

  10. I seem to recall a post or a message somewhere suggesting that people in the USA write their representatives to oppose new users fees. http://www.uspa.org/NewsEvents/News/tabid/59/Default.aspx#32963 "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

  12. I can see it now... This guy gets a tandem rating and shortly there after the forum will have a thread, presumably with video, about how a tandem passenger tricks him into getting out of a plane with a bad spot because they are trying to kill him "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

    Bye bye

Good ! Now that he's gone we can all talk openly about him. No more whispers... people can say what they really think. "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
  15. You won't like it... don't do it. Its expensive, its dangerous and most skydivers never get laid. Dropzones are boring, no one ever has any fun at those places. Stop. STOP NOW. Get out while you can... save your money! "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

  17. Helmets are making the news these days for offering only limited protection http://www.voxxi.com/helmets-mouthguards-brain-injuries/ "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
  18. but at least ProSkydiving's website is easy to read. Look at the RealDropzone website: Right side bar - small white text on a beige background. Bottom block - small beige text on a light brown background Gawd that is hard to read... so I don't. I don't own a DZ so I am never going to buy your software, but if I was looking at your site I would be put off trying to read it and I might make wonder... Is the software that hard to look at too? Skyfins

http://www.matbock.com/collections/air-ops/products/m3-skyfins "The Matt "MADDOG" Mason (M3) SkyFins were developed to mimic the increased control and maneuverability given by civilian skydiving pants and fit directly over your combat pants and boots. Simply slide them over your toe, secure the velcro along the side, and then attach the cord around your knee pad. They are specifically designed to fit the SOCOM PCU Level 9 combat pants with exposed knee pads."
