    Oh I agree 100% Unfortunately, the key word in your comment is say. Talk is cheap. Rumors are started very easily. People are misguided and often say lies to support their beliefs.     Nowadays JFK would have been a republican. His views and personal dedication to the country are the exact opposite of what the democrats stand for now.     The reason people continue top bring up Vietnam is because Kerry continues to lie about it. If Kerry came out from the beginning and came clean I would agree with you. What does dealing with the topic at hand do? It makes the post by Quade look sincere. It makes him look honest. It makes the party look a little better. I think if liberals and conservatives dealt with the issues at hand honestly and sincerely like Quade just did as opposed to flipping the spotlight, mirroring and other tired tactics progress would be a lot further down the road.
