-
LOL!!! well... i have noticed the fact that there's quite a few girls that are young dating guys 10-20 years older then them in the skydiving world. Whatever floats their boat i guess

are you the dude or the chick? I'm thinkin' the chick, right? major hottie if so -
yeah i got sprayed once on a call, (i'm a firefighter) LOOOOOOONG story, we got called cuz of a fire, a fight broke out, i was helping hold one of the guys down, the cops sprayed the other guy, who ran at me, and the cops sprayed me by accident. AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! boy did that hurt like a bitch. I remember trying to drive home after that, i could barely keep my eyes open, it hurt so bad.

hmmm.. well i was probably the most scared after my botched level 3 where me and my instructors were pretty much completely out of control (i think every dz in texas has heard this story by now lol) so when i went to level 4, i was pretty worried about the instructors banging into me again and losing control again. i ended up having to repeat that level because i didnt get any forward motion, so i was pretty worried again on my repeat of level 4, i REALLY didnt want to have to repeat the level, AGAIN. ever since then i passed level 4, i've felt ALOT better about skydives. now its just that nervousness at the door, but thats normal, and part of the fun.

LOL...... Teen help hotline.. now that was fuckin funny. Anyway, in all seriousness, i dont know why the hell you posted this question on a skydiving board, but uh, he's probably scared you're gonna say no. Just say "uhhh.... so when are you ever gonna ask me out?" that should give him a pretty good hint. if he doesnt catch on by then, he's a retard and you need to RUN away.

Still not a hottie and i still know it -
hm.. well i'm a student and i ALWAYS listen to the jumpmaster. Sure, i might bitch about it a little, but so what. i still end up doing what they tell me to do. BUT, my dropzone has alot of very friendly people, and they are all willing and wanting to help, because they see that i am there to learn, i go around asking questions seeing what everybody thinks and getting the different sides. But as a friend of mine told me, "Look, every skydiver is going to have a different idea on what you are supposed to do. Take everything you hear with a grain of salt." some very good advice, i think. its served me well so far. I think if the student shows that they will listen, and that they are enthusiastic about learning, people will be GLAD to help you out. If not, you might be at the wrong dropzone. I have already given some AFF-1 students advice, but nothing that they havent heard already, i hope. Basically, i tell them "REMEMBER TO PULL!!!" hehehe. Other then that, i'm very cautious about giving very specific advice, as i might know about the topic, but havent actually EXPERIENCED what the person might be asking about. Knowing about something, and actually experiencing something are sometimes two very different things. I'll choose the guy that has actual experience in what he is talking about over the guy who has just read about the topic online, in books, whatever, ANYDAY. just my opinion though, and be sure to take it with a grain of salt.

People driving from the south-east to the boogie
TribalTalon replied to TribalTalon's topic in The Bonfire
be on the lookout for a red 2001 GMC stepside pickup truck that looks like it was in a demolition derby covered in shoe polish "ELOY or BUST" and various other skydiving slogans. We're leaving probably the evening of the 26th from houston, texas. just figured maybe some dz'ers might see us driving on our long journey west, the truck will DEFINITELY stick out, i'll see to that!! muahahahaha. Anybody else plannin' on doing similiar decorating? it'd be sweet if we actually saw another dz-er driving out west and caravaned or somethin. heh. -
hahaha... somebody should try to sit on the engine Nacelle all the way up to altitude. if nothing else that'd make for a hilarious pic. Better not fall off early though.

Okay we all skydive but what other high risk activities are you into?
TribalTalon replied to sdgregory's topic in The Bonfire
hmmm... motorcycles, definitely i love racing them. i also used to race cars, but i never found that high risk, the only thing that used to worry me was the other driver. I've proven again and again that i can drive out of just about anything. *shrugs* definitely some of my scariest moments was in a car though. lol. uhhh what else.. oh i know, dating a bi-polar, OCD, (along with other issues) girl. That was definitely pretty high risk. -
hmmmm.... whats wrong with paper towels. i dont wash my clothes until i've worn em all like 5 times. but then again i dont usually get dirty, and i wear deoderant so my clothes dont smell.. *shrugs* I probably wash my clothes like every 2 months or so. hmm.. your observations must be correct, i'm a single college boy!!! EGADS!

Skydive Arizona Dropzone.com 2nd Annual Holiday Boogie II

awwwwww looks like i might as well not come now. -
yeah Teresa was awesome.. a friend of the family found her as a little baby, and took her in and fed her, kept her until she was about a year old and gave her to me, and i had her for about 4 years.. man it was always a trip to watch her walk in the woods, totally in her element. Very intimidating but always very playful and protective of me. We had to eventually put her down because she attacked a few people and was starting to have health problems. My next dog is going to be a husky. those dogs are gorgeous.

........... gawd damn we cant pick our noses in the sancity of our own cars?!?!?! wtf is the world coming to! you people have some pretty harsh pet peeves. i'll tell ya another thing that bugs me though, is when somebody tries to explain something to me, and i say "I know" and they continue to try to explain it....... I FUCKING KNOW!!!!! if i didnt know, i'd go "okay" not "i know"
