So boring that i had to go out and drive around until i found a library so i could get online and PW on dz.com hahaha. i've got a 702 sq foot apartment all to myself in Pearland, which is south of houston. Its really pretty nice, but its so quiet......*crickets chirping* and kinda lonely. Just dont really know anybody around here, so all i ever do is go to school during the day and go to bed at like 8 pm. pretty pathetic, huh?!?! not much of a life. oh well. Just wanted to make a little mini-rant, although i know nobody cares.

hmm.. i NEVER EVER expected my jump masters to pull for me. EVER. no matter how badly i screwed up a dive, i always pulled. my jumpmasters said they felt alot more comfortable with me after i showed that i would pull, on time, no matter what was going on. Dont ever think that oh the jm WILL pull. Granted, the JM will do everything they can to get to you to pull, but they wont kill themselves trying (most JM's anyway) all you have to do is remember the cardinal rule of skydiving. PULL!!! (and btw i've got 10 jumps)

hey btw.. i'd just like to add that she's talking about how there's millions of jumps, but what i dont think she understands is that most of those jumps are tandems. there's like 300,000 people that do tandems and only what, 34,000 licensed skydivers? (dont quote me on that) I definitely have to agree with Ron. He's not saying that its UNSAFE, that you ARE going to die, but at the same time, its not basket weaving or something. you ARE jumping out of an aircraft thousands of feet above the ground with a little backpack with a bunch of nylon in it.

lol... hmm at midnight i think we were somewhere by fort stockton in between El Paso and San Antonio. Started driving back home at 3:30pm eloy time/4:30 houston time and got home at 9:45 am houston time. I'm glad to be finally home. Its kind of funny, most of the pics that i took were in the truck of us being retarded. boy were we bored. kinda glad to be home, but mostly not. what the hell is up with this FOG and rain and shit!!! -

i had almost exactly the same thing happen to me, but i ruptured/slipped/cracked a disk. i'm still not really sure because i havent gone to a professional about it. i've gotten some pretty educated guesses about it, but i know that i'd need surgery for it. i really dont wanna have a surgery because my super fly hella cool tattoo is right there. -
i hear ya.. solos are pretty lonely. cant wait to finish up my solo requirements so i can jump with others again. Its definitely more fun jumping with other people, at least for me. *shrugs* i'm fine jumping by myself though, just not as enjoyable. anyway, i went through AFF in about a month, plus a solo jump. I only had to repeat level 4, didnt get any forward motion on that jump. BUT, i never used a radio, since i'm deaf and i've stood up every landing since the repeat of level 4, and i've had one bulls eye landing and one 2 meters from the target. Plus, i'm down to a 200 sq. foot canopy now. but i'm not cocky or anything about it, it doesnt really matter to me about being able to jump without a radio or having a smaller then normal canopy. its just whatever works for the individual. :)

I'll be there as long as there's nothing extremely important going on at home. *shrugs* hopefully by then i'll have at least my B license and maybe even my C.

lol... 14 of us are Scrooges. i dont even bother with decorations for any holiday. the only decorations i have are skydiving decorations. that's all that matters.

LOL!!!! oh god, were you there at SDH too? oh boy. I keep hearing people muttering about how they're gonna get me into an SCR by the end of january. *groans* i really shouldnt have said i wasnt doing my SCR until July when it warms up. lol.
