hmmm. well there's this girl at my dropzone that i wouldnt mind dating. We hung out last night, and it seemed to go very well. But gosh, i just happened to forget her name. Darn! Usually i dont talk about girls i'm dating until i'm sure that we're actually an item, so.. hopefully i'll get back to you guys in a few weeks on this.

heh. funny this topic came up, there's a wind tunnel named Adrenlin in Conroe, Texas, about 30 miles north of houston, its right by my house so i went to check it out today. I didnt jump in, but it seemed pretty cool. The thing that shocked me was that the guys that worked at the tunnel, who could do all this amazing freefly stuff, had NEVER jumped out of an airplane before. In fact, they had just started less then 5 or 6 weeks ago. Of course, they were practicing like for hours every day, but still. Pretty impressive. The one major flaw with a wind tunnel in my opinion is that for an AFF student, its easy to forget about altitude awareness. Obviously, in a tunnel you dont need to be checking your altitude, and i could see somebody that's done alot of tunnel time and not real freefall time having a hard time keeping altitude awareness doin the real thing. *shrugs* Other then that, its cool and i plan on goin there soon with one of my buddies who's basically my coach.

I'm thinking about getting a dog but i dunno. I'd really like to have like a german shepard or husky, but my apartment is too small. I dunno if i wanna get like a Jack Russel or a Mini doberman or something. *shrugs* i dont want one of those ugly looking monsters like a pug or chihuaha. lol.

hell yeah... Lately i've been spending alot of time at the dz, i've been jumping quite a bit, but i like to just walk around and ask questions and get pointers from people. I think people see that i'm just there to learn more about the sport, and they embrace that. It is definitely like a family. But like it was said before, its HARD not to jump when you're always there, its like, ah what the hell, might as well. LOL. thats where you get in financial trouble. so might as well just start packing -
DUDE.. that reminds me of my 19th birthday party, i had a shitload of friends, my date, etc etc at this party, and my grandparents give me this huge framed collage of a bunch of naked pictures of me as a baby and little kid, sittin on the toilet, in the bath tub, stuff like that. i've NEVER been more embarrassed. i wanted to throw that piece of shit out of the window and burn it to ashes. gah. now its hidden in a safe location, i gotta get around to taking the pics out, i can still at least use the frame and stuff. hahaha.

hmm.. i'd have to say my biggest fear would be watching a friend of mine bounce. that'd suck hardcore i dont know what it is with yall and your fears of the airplane crashing. sheesh. thats the absolute last thing on my mind during a skydive.

hmmm.. that would definitely have to be the remote control crawling army man i got from my grandparents. i was 18 years old, and i got a friggin remote control army man guy that just crawled around and made shooting noises. at first i thought it was a huge joke, and then i realized it wasnt. lol oh well. i blew that thing up (along with a few other worthless gifts i got) a few days later with an interesting concotion of orange juice and fertilizer. at least watchin all that shit fly all over the place in pieces was cool.

yeah that thing was WICKED... the first one was pretty nice, but not THAT nice. LOL. We were taking off in the otter when the eurocopter was flying in, and i could see the silhouette, i was like, wtf is the coast guard doin here!?! sure was a very pretty copter!

i make about 15 a year, but i'm a full time college student, but i dont have to pay for school. skydiving is cheap, AFF is EXPENSIVE. lol.

0:3:0 parents found out i was jumping this weekend.. i'm hiding out at the college. its gonna be a complete and utter shitstorm when i get home. *Groans* and i'm 20 and pay for all my own shit!! i'm even moving out of the house in just 2 weeks. oh well.
