  2. No offense but did you look a few threads down? http://dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2440585;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread Then follow that up with a search for Neptune? http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=search_results&search_forum=all&search_string=neptune&sb=score&mh=25 Should yield the answers your looking for. FYI-I've had a Neptune for almost a year now, and it's worked flawlessly as a audible and at times hand mounted. I will be getting another.
  3. why not just scan what you want and store it electronically...less space and less chance of ID theft.
  4. I had the worst experience demo'ing from Aerodyne. When I have more time I will post about it. But it was an eye opening expereince. I fly a Sabre2 now btw.
  5. That's an insanly great price!!! An outstanding detail job IMO consists of: Interior: Steam clean seats (cloth in my case), pull seats out and clean underneath too, steam mats (if cloth) dust the hell out of it (qtip vents, etc), apply protector all glass work (every mirror, gauge, etc) Exterior Wash Clay Polish (if needed) Wax (x2) Wheels (clean/polish) Engine (degrease/clean/polish) Thats off the top of my head and that would run me about 250-300ish....
  6. There are a bunch out there so what do you use/prefer and more importantly why? I've only used Sony Imagestation and like it but thought about others.... So...let me know what the pro's use...
  7. 10 credits @ night. Work full time (40-50 per week), plus working one day a weekend at the DZ as a packer/manifester. But that will stop soon.
  8. It hasn't been released yet. Only beta testers have them right now.
  9. I always knew it as the 7 P's Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poos Performance
  10. I think LOU could be right...seeing as though Bill himself said so on the boards here a few weeks ago....
  11. Nice of them to at least warn you. We don't do that. We just attack!!!
  12. Where does the SIM state you need "100 jumps"? You need to "meet the requirements for a USPA B License . Plus a "B" is 50 jumps. Per the SIM: Qualifications Back to Section 6-4 1. Skydivers participating in night jumping should meet all the requirements for a USPA B or higher license. 2. Participants should complete a comprehensive briefing and drill immediately prior to the intended night jump. a. The training should be conducted by a USPA Safety & Training Advisor (S&TA), Instructor Examiner, or Instructor, who holds a USPA D license. b. The training (including the date and location) should be documented in the jumper's logbook and signed by the USPA S&TA, I/E, or Instructor. I did my night jump @ jump #76, it was a blast! Work on the flaring and stuff and when your ready, go for it....it was absolutly unreal!!!
  13. It's Wednesday.....and I don't want to be at work today...damn it I wish this week wasn't dragging on!!! SHEEEEIOOOOT!!!

  16. I read on here (dz.com) somewhere that they have a special going on. Buy a freefly suit, get a pair of freefly pants 50% off. I just saw it a day or two ago. Now don't quote me, I'm searching for the link to the post before the post nazi's come after me...
  17. So I did my 79th and 80th jump this past weekend. 79th, hop n pop...nothing special....80th...well some cool stuff happened.... I had the opportunity to jump with a jumper I very much respect @ our DZ. He noticed I was on the load and only doing another hop-n-pop. He convinced me to go all the way up to the top. So I did, expecting a solo sit-fly (attempt). He asked if he could come with me on the skydive...FUK YEAH I said....He asked if I wanted to go head-down out the door for a bit then go to the sit. Sure, why not!!! I'm not sure what it was but something was different on this skydive. I'm usually a tad nervous, not scared but apprehensive until I get to the door. Not this time though. I sat on the plane talking with this jumper and just really having a good time. We talked about the jump, what we would do, break off, dump alt's, etc.... So anyways..out the door head down...and we were screaming (at least to me)...it was out of control fun. The difference I feel like I finally relaxed and let go some. I could really feel the air move off and around my body. I could feel the little adjustments. I nailed my sit...stayed on heading and level with him. Belly'd out and tracked away...dumped @ 3500. I got down and was completely satisfied. I gotta say it was a great skydive. Things just seemed easier, simpler...I could feel more than I ever did before. It was definitely a great experience. I gotta say though..since I left the military I've always felt something was missing...something to satisfy a feeling inside of me....maybe I've finally found something to fill that particular void. If not, it sure is fun and I've met some great people along the way so far.
  18. I'm finally on My Space and need some friends... http://www.myspace.com/spatula19
